About this trip

The Plus Size Travel x Wroclaw trip is a group tour organised by Kirsty Leanne (@kirstyleannetravels).


With travel being so daunting for so many, we understand just how important it is to be with people who just *get it* when it comes to travelling in a larger body. 


That's why we want to create trips that act as a safe space for those that want to travel.

When?

The trip will run from 2nd December 2024 until 5th December 2024. Depending on your flights, you may find it easier to arrive the day before. The trip starts at 5pm on the 2nd and ends at 11am on the 5th, but you're welcome to leave earlier if you need to.

So, What Is Included?

We wanted to plan an INCREDIBLE trip for you, so we've included some amazing activities alongside accommodation and transport throughout the trip. This is what you'll get included in your ticket price:


- Three nights in a central hotel (private double room)

- Welcome Meal with included drink

- Wroclaw City Tour 

- Winter Markets with included meal and one drink

- Leaving Dinner with included drink

Flights and transfers are not included as everyone will be arriving from different destinations at different times, therefore individuals will need to co-ordinate their own transport to hotel.

Refunds and Cancellations

All deposits are final and non-refundable.


If in the event of COVID-19 (or other extenuating circumstances) affecting the trip, the dates will be rearranged. If you can no longer make those dates, your deposit will be transferred to a future trip. 


If you cancel your trip with less than 6 months before the trip is due to start you will receive 100% refund of any further balance paid. If you cancel your trip with less than 3 months before the trip is due to start you will receive 50% refund of any further balance paid. If you refund the trip with less than 3 months of the start date you will not receive a refund of any further balance paid. 


Kirsty Leanne is not held responsible for any instances or injuries that happen while on the tour.

 

Please make sure you have travel insurance to insure your flights and other travel arrangements you may need to make.

As a trip organizer myself, I would not take a trip with just anyone. My gut instinct was that traveling with Kirsty was going to be great and having completed one of her trips, I can come confirm: Kirsty was meant to organize trips for plus size babes! Kirsty was available for questions before, during and after the trip. She never made me feel like I was being a bother asking for clarification and she even anticipated questions she thought I would have. Kirsty is not just our host, but she is our advocate to ensure that accommodations and activities are as comfortable as possible for us plus size travelers. At every turn, Kirsty was happy to make suggestions. In fact, making suggestions and ensuring that everyone had the experience that worked best for them brought visible joy to Kirsty. What an amazing time I had in Bali with Kirsty and such a brilliant group of plus size people. Kirsty was such an organisational superstar and had wonderful wealth of knowledge and advice on everything we could ever ask about in Bali. There was a great balance of organised activities which gave the group structure and some really great memories of our time there and free time for us to go off exploring or chill out as needed. I would follow Kirsty anywhere. Literally. If you're thinking about booking a trip with her: do it. I had an amazing 10 days in Bali with an incredible group of women. There was a good mix of planned activities and free time that made it easy for seasoned travelers and those who were abroad for the first time to customize the trip to their needs/comfort, while still providing a jam-packed itinerary that hit all the high notes. Kirsty was always thoughtful about plus size inclusion and her entire itinerary was well-thought-out and considerate of our specific concerns. For additional activities not on the itinerary that folks were interested in, she was helpful in providing information about what may or may not be fat friendly about them and providing tips when possible. Additionally, she wasn't shy about advocating for us at restaurants, etc when needed. 100% recommend and I can't wait to travel with Kirsty again <3

Absolutely LOVED the March 2024 Bali trip. Kirsty was a fantastic host and did a great job of organizing the trip and kept things running smoothly. Everything was taken care of in such a thoughtful way, and it truly was a life changing experience to travel with other plus sized people. The accommodations, itineraries, food, and transportation was all top notch. Kristy was also so helpful in helping plan my free time activities. Would totally recommend this Bali trip! Can’t wait to travel with Kirsty again!

I went to Bali with Kirsty last year and it was an incredible trip! She plans just the right amount of experiences and downtime. And I swear it’s almost like she can read our minds - one day was pretty hot and our energy was flagging and she immediately suggested that we take 15 min to get an iced beverage in the Starbucks that had AC. The accommodations were so beautiful and luxurious and Kirsty had great recommendations for things to do and places to eat in your free time. I’m booking my second trip with her ASAP!
