In the morning, we will depart the lodge and take a tour of the town! This is the perfect tour for those wanting a proper introduction to the community and both its historical and modern-day treasures. Our guide will take us by 4x4 vehicle to all the important sites around town such as: Cape Merry, Miss Piggy, the Polar Bear Jail, Ithaca Shipwreck, the Sea Walls Project, and more. Walking is required to experience some sites. We will then head to the Churchill Northern Studies Centre for lunch and a tour. In the evening, we will head to a private at the yurt with a local Churchill speaker present. The yurt's location gives you a dark sky, away from ambient light for aurora photography and viewing. This spot is tucked away in the trees, is warm and spacious, and allows a comfy break from the cold. Sit around the wood stove with some refreshments and snacks in between Aurora activity (we hope!). After the evening is through, sleep in peace at the White Whale Lodge.
