Embark on an unforgettable journey with your tour guide to UNESCO World Heritage sites in Kathmandu! Visit Kathmandu Durbar Square and admire the intricately carved wood temples and buildings showcasing the ancient city. Then, head to Swyambhunath - the monkey temple - to witness the religious harmony between Buddhism and Hinduism and take in the breathtaking views of Kathmandu. 

Afterward, explore the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, one of the biggest Hindu pilgrimage sites in Southeast Asia. Marvel at the ritual body cremation process conducted by the Bagmati River and then move on to the nearby Guweyswori Temple. Next, visit the Boudhanath Stupa, built in 600 A.D. and the only one of its kind in the world. Admire the surrounding areas before returning to the hotel to rest.

Once a proud, independent city-state, Patan (or Lalitpur, or Yala) is now a suburb of Kathmandu, only separated by the Bagmati River. We will explore its many attractions before heading to Bhadgaon (or Khwopa), which is known for its towering temples and religious architecture. Sadly, the 2015 earthquake caused great destruction, but there is still much to be seen, and tourism is vital to the local community. After visiting Bhadgaon, we will go to Changunarayan, said to be the oldest Hindu temple in the Kathmandu Valley. It is guarded by mythical and real figures, and its roof struts display Tantric deities. We will then drive to Nagarkot, which is renowned for its panoramic views of the Himalayas. The best viewing season is between October-December and March-April when clear skies are most likely.

After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Kathmandu domestic airport for a flight to Pokhara. You will drive to the trek's starting point, Nayapul (1050m). You will be surrounded by old villages, meandering green hills, and terraced paddy fields as you journey to your destination. The wind in your face and the splendor of the landscape will make for a pleasant and enjoyable ride. You will stop for lunch at Hile or Birethanti before continuing your trek. The initial part of the journey is gentle, passing along settlements and paddy fields and will soon transport you into a vastly different lifestyle. The trail will lead to Tikhedhunga via Birethanti (1065m), giving you the opportunity to marvel at the simple yet charming atmosphere.

You will ascend slowly and gently, passing through the Magar village of Ulleri (2070m), where lunch will be served. Here, you will have the chance to sample the local cuisine with a Magar twist. Along the way, you will be able to appreciate the stunning views of Machhapuchhre (6997m), Huinchuli (6441m), and Annapurna South (7219m). You'll also be able to take in the world's largest rhododendron forest, and during March and April, you will be able to witness the colorful display of forest flowers. Interacting with the locals, you will have the opportunity to learn and understand their way of life.

Begin your trek from Ghorepani to Poon Hill (3,210m) in the early morning so you can catch the sunrise over the mountain peaks of Dhaulagiri (8167m), Tukuche (6,920m), Nilgiri (6,940m), Varaha Shikhar (7,847m), Annapurna I (8,091m), Annapurna South (7,219m), Annapurna III (7,855m), Machhapuchhre (6,993m), Annapurna IV (7,525m), Annapurna II (7,937m), and Lamjung Himal (6,931m). The trek to Poon Hill should take about six to seven hours. 

After breakfast at Ghorepani, continue on to Tadapani (2,650m) through the lush forests of rhododendrons, bamboo, and oaks. Along the way, you'll have the opportunity to see waterfalls, rocks, wild animals, birds, and green valleys. Take a lunch break at Banthathi.

Today's trek will be relatively easy as we make our way through oak and rhododendron forests, which may be dotted with colorful wildflowers. Our destination is the Gurung village of Ghandruk, where we can view several peaks, such as Annapurna South, Gangapurna (7455m), Machapuchare, Annapurna III, and Hiunchuli. Ghandruk is the second-largest Gurung village in Nepal and is known for its peaceful Buddhist culture and charming stone houses with slate roofs. It also boasts its own Buddhist monastery.

We will retrace our steps along the path that led us to Poon Hill and follow a steep track until we arrive at Syaula Bazaar. As we continue on the trail, we will pass through several small villages and see terraced fields with various crops. Our trek ends at Nayapul, and we will then drive back to Pokhara. Once we reach Pokhara, we will have time to wander around Phewa Lake and admire its beautiful surroundings.

Pokhara, located on the shores of Phewa Lake and filled with vibrant paddleboats, is a peaceful haven in Nepal. The town offers many exciting activities, particularly for thrill-seekers, such as white water rafting and world-class paragliding. The towering Annapurna range, with its snow-capped peaks reaching 8,000 meters, is an impressive sight that can be seen from anywhere in Pokhara on a clear day. These majestic mountains stand as guardian angels over the tranquil town.
