Ghorepani and Ghandruk village of are both famous for splendid view of rhododendron forest with thirteen spices & several varieties of Orchids which blossom in the spring season. The unobstructed view of Sunset and Sunrise from the POON HILL (3210) meter is mesmerizing; poonhill is accessible from Ghorepani Village.

How Difficult is Poonhill trek?

But if its your problem – solve it by taking jeep all the way to Ulleri. It is possible to skip Tikhedunga-Ulleri trail section. But the trail is nice with beautiful landscape view. You will love walking uphill, if you don’t skip the uphill, intentionally.
Trekking trail is wide & well maintained with stairs to walk on. Uphill or downhill – both of these trail type has been simplified with proper trail maintenance.

Itinerary
• Altitude – 1450 meters

It is the real beginning of the trek you have been waiting. However, we will drive for about 2 hours in 50 km, till we reach Nayapul. The Ghorepani Ghandruk Village trekking officially begins after checking in your permit and TIMS at ACAP office in Birethanti. From here we walk for about 3 hours till today’s destination Hile or Tikhedhunga; enjoying the scenery, soaking in the nature, listening to the flowing Bhurungdi Khola and chirping of birds until we reach Hile.
