- Where are we staying?

Shared accomodation for two with private bathroom ( hotel rooms and/ or boat cabins ).

We are staying in selected quality hotels in Aswan ( boutique hotel by the Nile ) and Cairo ( 5* hotel ) and confortable sail cruise boat on the Nile - the beautiful Dahabeya - reserved for our group only FOR A MINIMUM OF 12 PARTICIPANTS, otherwise, for less than 12 participants: 4 nights at 5* hotel on a island by the Nile in Luxor visiting the same temples and adding a visit to Abydos.

You will be paired with another participant or If you would like to be partnered with a specific room mate please specify at the final questionnaire.

- Can I arrive earlier?

If you would like to arrive before 19th March and reserve an OPTIONAL PRE-NIGHT at our event hotel in Aswan ( or nearby hotel depending on availability ), you can pre-book at final questionnaire. Arriving one day earlier would allow you to rest and ground before the starting of the journey.

- Regarding airport transfer timings when booking your flights:

ARRIVAL IN ASWAN: Anytime after your arrival ( 18th or 19th March )

PICK-UP IN CAIRO HOTEL: There will be 2 pick-up buses so guests will be grouped according to time of departure ( 29th March )

FROM FAYOUM OASIS: For guests joining post-journey retreat in Fayoum, there will be a direct transfer to Cairo Airport after breakfast. Attending to travel distance ( 2.5 h ) and international flight requirements, we advise you to book only an afternoon or evening flight out of Cairo ( 2nd April )

- Do I need a visa to enter Egypt?

All visitors are required to obtain a tourist visa to enter Egypt. Citizens from the US, Australia, UK and EU may obtain a tourist visa online or on arrival at Cairo Airport for a fee of $25 USD ( or equivalent value in Euros ) and is done prior to Passport Control.

CANCELATION AND REFUND POLICY:

Due to the early need and high costs of securing place for our group bookings in hotels, private cruise boat, providers and internal flight through our tour operator in Egypt, the following conditions apply in case of cancelation:

- BEFORE 31st JANUARY:

YOU WILL RECEIVE A 25% REFUND OF YOUR TOTAL PAYMENT except card processig fees if applied.

OR YOU CAN TRANSFER YOUR PLACE TO ANOTHER PERSON NAME UNDER THE SAME BOOKING CONDITIONS FOR A FEE OF 150€ RELATED TO ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS.

- AFTER 1st FEBRUARY:

WE WILL NOT BE ABLE TO PROCESS REFUNDS BUT YOU CAN TRANSFER YOUR PLACE TO ANOTHER PERSON UNDER THE SAME BOOKING CONDITIONS UNTIL 5th MARCH FOR A FEE OF 150€ RELATED TO ADMINISTRATIVE COSTS.

- Confortable Clothing:

• Layered Clothing: Pack layers to adjust to temperature changes throughout the day. A lightweight jacket or sweater is recommended for cooler mornings and evenings.
• Comfortable Shoes: Opt for comfortable walking shoes. Rubber slippers for hotel pools.
• Hat and Scarf: A hat can shield you from the sun, and a scarf may be useful for cooler evenings.
• Swim suit

- Sun lotion / moisturizer/ lip balm: For protection from the dry desert air.
