Bem vindo a Portugal! February is a great time of year to visit this beautiful southern European country, with all of the crowds and commotion from the summer long gone, beautiful weather, and very low prices. We'll be visiting some of the most prized destinations on the Iberian peninsula including the coastal Lisbon, the wine growing area of Porto and the Douro Valley, the island of Madeira, among others. We'll be taking a river cruise through the Douro valley, and a good amount of time on the Atlantic ocean as we experience it's rich culture, cuisine,  and beaches along with the beautiful architecture throughout the country that mostly dates from the 1500's-1800's, otherwise known as the golden age of Portugal.
