We had the best experience with Right Path Adventures (Gary & Katarina). They provided excellent service prior and during the Hiking Trip. Gary & Katarina were very knowledgeable, flexible, ready to meet challenge re. ability of the group, weather etc. The pre-trip info was very helpful & appreciated. Overall it was an amazing experience, from the hotel stay, food, hiking, history, people, to the amazing beauty of the Dolomites. It will be a trip that we will never forget. We look forward to booking with Right Path again in the future.

This was a. Tri of a lifetime we will never forget. Wonderful and knowledgeable tour guides, great food and beautiful accommodations. A few recommendations to the Dolasilla wellness resort and spa to enhance the hotel even more: 1. Add Air Conditioning splits; 2. add shower curtain so water doesn’t go all over the floor outside the shower (we wiped it up after every shower however spent a lot of the time showering in the corner to prevent water getting outside shower still; 3. Add coffee makers to the room; 4. Add more spa staff for massages (it appeared as if there was only one person to provide the spa services). The hotel was exceptional and we did enjoy our stay.

Gary, Katarina and the hiking trip were OUTSTANDING! Their professionalism, experience, knowledge and great personalities EXCEEDED our expectations, and I can't tell you how much fun we had. We have already talked about joining Gary and Katarina on another tour in 2026. The hotel they chose was superb - the food, rooms, bedding, etc. - and the hotel's party and buffet put on for us one night was SO much fun that I had to take videos. I HIGHLY recommend this company and Gary and Katarina!!!!!

This was an unbelievable trip. We enjoy hiking (we're flatlanders), beautiful scenery, extremely comfortable accommodations, good food and sharing these things with friends. We've listened to Gary Scott at outdoor expos for years and had always planned on going on one of his walking tours. We finally made it. He and his wife Katarina were wonderful. Our group consisted of four couples (good friends & relatives) with varied experience in walking (we would say hiking). Katarina entertained us on a daily basis with her knowledge of wildflowers and mushrooms - so much fun. Gary and Katarina tailored the days so that we could enjoy our week in the Dolomites at our pace. Both of them were well versed and experienced in the area to provide us with the best experience possible. The sights were amazing. We couldn't have asked for more. If you're thinking of a guided outdoor tour, Gary and Katarina will give you a week that won't disappoint!

My wife and I just returned from a hiking/walking tour of Croatia and Slovenia with Gary and 6 other travelers. It was the perfect amount of fellow hikers to keep things moving and interesting, as well as, we all got along. The advantage of traveling with a smaller group, it gives you the opportunity to explore many places in a short period of time. Without the hassle of trying to organize a larger group and get them moving to where you need to get to, you can relax and enjoy your experience. We went to places that not too many people get to go and had a blast! We will be traveling with Gary and Right Path again, hopefully some of the people we traveled with this time will join us next time.

It was a most interesting 3 week trip beginning in mid-September 2024 hiking and absorbing the cultural and hstorical challenges of the last 100 years in Austria, Hungary and Slovakia. A very early September blizzard blanketed the Alps and Dolomites closing mountain passes and valleys from avalanche and floods along the Danube River basin. Right wing conservative politics and propagandists in central europe were picking up steam and the historical and cultural progression of Salzberg, Bertchesgaden, Vienna, Budapest and Bratislava piqued our understanding of current world affairs on our way to hiking the High Tatra Mountains with Gary and Katerina Scott and their daughter Timka of Right Path Adventures. The name comes from a mesh of Hindu and Chinese characters illustrating various activities of this master climber and trekker. Since his adolescence when he determined in front of his father while canoeing against the multiglacier backdrop on Lake Louise, Canada, he would be a mountaineer. Each day brings wonder and wander to himself and each of his hiking followers. Challenges are a daily occurrence for Gary, whether for himself ascending the heights of Everest, McKinley and other hightops around the world for his pack of eager hikers. Each has a story and that was part of the enjoyment to further understand our environment together. Gary, arranged the rides, suggested local foods where we gathered together most times to explore the cultures as well. He picked out the routes suitable for the cloudy, misty unusual days where disability was down to 30 feet or sparkling days where from peaks we saw 3 and 4 countries. Challenges and adapting to the environment and social changes and political wills were all around us. "Be in the PRESENT" and enjoy the solitude he would say on the variability of air and terrain. Many asked what to wear daily and of course the answer was hiking shoes, poles and layers as the environment would throw us what it could. Be prepared as Slovakia is not your polished Val Gardena and Alta Badia of Dolomite fame. The rocky terrain and jagged peaks are as rough as it's history since the bronze and iron age, Celtic, Roman and world war devestation eras. Yet, Gary tamed this unusual trip with UNESCO sites, Italian and Slovak meals, 12th century refurbished fortresses cum Palaces and the trying democratic evolution of the newest sovereign country on earth. This was Lauri and my third trip with Gary as he continues to venture to new lands and history including the Canaries, Azores, Algarve in Portugal and we will be with him for more wonderful experiences. Happy Trails!
