This was an amazing trip. The location was beautiful and the service could not have been more friendly and efficient. I loved the relaxed ambience of the whole place and its blending in with the jungle surroundings. The food was excellent and the combination of a yoga and painting retreat was wonderful, with outstanding teachers. You need to be reasonably fit as there are a lot of steps. It was a dream week.

Amazing property! Great food and yoga and rooms. Felt very remote with all the comforts of a top notch property. The painting classes were outside in a beautiful setting and the instructors were amazing. Jennifer and Gayle are both professionals with so much warm personality they made me feel welcome - and important - and were super flexible in guiding us to learn new techniques.

While I did have a lovely time with lots of good learning from excellent instructors, wonderful people, and good food, there were certain downfalls that should be called out if you organize something like this again at Xinalani: 1) The stairs! This was the biggest problem! My roommate was 79 and I am 74. Both of us had a difficult time with the stairs (she needed a daily escort both up and down). When you are aware of your guest's ages, you should make every effort to place them in appropriate accommodations (We shared a double room). 2. The pre-arrival day: this was couched as a suggestion, but should have been more of a requirement. Three of us did not arrive until the first day, and because of connections, arrived so late that we missed an important meeting. 3. If you're going to have a pre-event Zoom meeting, please ensure that there is a recording of that Zoom meeting and that it is sent to all attendees. Thank you for providing such an otherwise wonderful trip.

Regarding Xinalani, I wasn't certain what to expect as I have never slept in a room with 3 walls. It's hard to describe how wonderful it was. I don't know how they do it, but the room is impeccably clean and safe. We had no issues with critters or bugs. I was completely comfortable and fully enjoyed the experience and the beauty. The food was amazing, healthy and so delicious. The staff was unwaveringly kind and helpful. Regarding Euphoria, Monica and Lisa were just perfect. Both are extremely personable and got to know everyone. They really provided a beautiful experience. The yoga and meditation practices were thoughtful and well done. I would happily retreat with them anytime.
