Are you ready to not only walk the Camino, but have time to truly experience the Camino?
There’s something about the Camino that invites you to pay attention. To the countryside, the people you meet, the conversations over coffee—and perhaps to what you need a little more of in your own life.
We begin with a night in Porto before transferring to Tui to walk the Portuguese Central route into Santiago de Compostela.
Along the way, we’ll pass through Galician villages, woodland and vineyards, pause for good food, and settle into accommodation chosen for its comfort and character.
Two rest days give us time to enjoy where we are and let our feet recover.
Mindfulness is part of how we experience the journey: noticing our surroundings, finding moments of quiet and making space for reflection. There’s no need for previous meditation or yoga experience.
You’ll have the company of a small group and the support of two experienced hosts, with opportunities for shared conversation and time to walk quietly at your own pace.
A proper walking adventure, with good beds, memorable meals and plenty of heart.
IS THIS WALK RIGHT FOR YOU?
This is an active walking retreat. You’ll need to be comfortable spending several hours on your feet and walking on consecutive days with our longest stage approximately 25 km.
Expect a mixture of paths, paved surfaces, hills and uneven ground. You’ll carry a daypack with your daily essentials; your main luggage will be transferred between accommodations.
You don’t need to be an experienced pilgrim, but preparation matters. We’ll meet online before departure to discuss training, footwear, packing and what to expect.
There is no dedicated support vehicle. If you need to stop walking, we can help arrange a taxi (at your cost) where access allows. Please contact us before booking if you’re unsure whether the walking demands suit you.
Your Only Task: Take One Step at a Time
Let us handle the details; your focus should be on the incredible journey ahead. So, what are you waiting for?
Embrace the Camino de Santiago Pilgrim Walk, and let the transformation begin.
For this very special 2027 journey, Lisa will be joined by Sahara Sotomayor as co-host and Camino guide.
Lisa and Sahara have walked three Caminos together. Sahara first joined two of Lisa’s retreats as a guest before they returned to walk their third as friends, united by a shared love of the Camino, its people and the way it invites us to slow down, pay attention and connect more deeply.
Together, they bring complementary experience in mindfulness, yoga, movement, wellbeing and retreat facilitation.
Sahara also speaks fluent Spanish, adding another layer of cultural connection and practical support throughout the journey.
With two experienced hosts accompanying this intimate group, you’ll receive more individual support, greater flexibility and two people genuinely invested in helping you experience the Camino in your own way.
