Using your Prague Travel Pass, head to Prague Castle for a visit. Then, begin a guided sightseeing tour that includes Prague Castle (built around 850 AD), the Old Royal Palace, St. George’s Basilica, the “Golden Lane”, St. Charles Bridge, St. Vitus Cathedral, and the famous “defenestration” window.  B

PRAGUE

This morning, enjoy a guided walking tour of Josefov neighborhood, also known as the Jewish Quarter, named after Emperor Josef lI. Visit the Old Jewish Cemetery where space was so limited that people were buried on top of one another for generations. On a guided tour of Municipal House and Old Town Prague, you’ll admire the stunning Art Nouveau architecture of the Municipal House, including its intricate murals and elegant concert hall. Then, wander through the cobblestone streets of Old Town, where you can appreciate the Astronomical Clock, historic squares, and charming medieval buildings, all while learning about their rich history.  B

This morning, on a guided walking tour of Revolutionary Prague, you’ll explore key sites that shaped the city’s tumultuous history, including the historic Wenceslas Square and the renowned National Museum. As you stroll through the streets, you’ll discover fascinating stories of resistance and resilience that define Prague’s past. This afternoon, discover the city at leisure with your group leader. You might decide to wander the quiet streets of Vinohrady, where locals sip coffee in hidden courtyards and lush parks offer a peaceful escape. Or, explore the art-filled alleys of Žižkov, stumbling upon quirky galleries, tucked-away cafes, and panoramic views from the hilltop.  B

PRAGUE - VIENNA

As you travel from Prague to Vienna by train, the landscape unfolds with rolling hills, dotted with rustic villages and golden fields stretching toward the horizon. Begin a guided tour of the Hofburg Imperial Apartments where you’ll step into the opulent world of the Habsburgs, exploring lavishly decorated rooms filled with gilded chandeliers and ornate furniture. On a guided tour of Vienna’s city center, stroll through grand boulevards lined with elegant baroque architecture, discover hidden courtyards, and hear stories of emperors, composers, and the city’s rich cultural heritage.
