Your breath determines the quality of your life. Your breath is like a river. Sometimes shallow. Sometimes deep. Always rising and sinking. Are you in sync with your breathing? Or is stress, anxiety, and fear depriving your breath?
Pranayama is one of the most transformative Yoga practices. You can use the breath to calm, ground, and balance ourselves, energize the body and the mind. When you focus, guide, and control your breath, you can send a signal to the nervous system that you are safe, and everything is ok. Our brain relies critically on a constant source of oxygen. To feel alive, vibrant, and have a greater sense of wellbeing, we want the energy of our bodies to flow freely. In the human body, this energy is expressed through the breath. When you own your breath, nobody can disturb your inner peace.
This two-hour workshop shares basic yet critical breathing techniques to support your mind and body find your comfortable union with your breath again.
