Gratuities
Tipping is customary for guides, hosts, and lodge staff. We suggest budgeting about 10–15% of the trip cost for guides and hosts. Small tips for lodge staff are appreciated but never required.

Arrival and Sunset on the Zambezi
Upon arrival at Livingstone Airport, you will be met by your One Niner Expeditions Tour Host and transferred to David Livingstone Safari Lodge, where you will spend the next four nights.
Take some time to settle in, relax, and freshen up before your first activity, a sunset cruise on the Zambezi River. Drift along the tranquil waters as the sun sets over the horizon, enjoying light snacks and local drinks while soaking in one of Africa’s most spectacular vistas.

Victoria Falls and Elephant Café Experience
After breakfast, your One Niner Expeditions Tour Host will meet you at reception for a road transfer to Victoria Falls. Explore the Zambian side of this iconic natural wonder, taking in the breathtaking views, thunderous cascades, and the lush surrounding rainforest.
Following the tour, enjoy a unique lunch at the Elephant Café, a riverside restaurant offering gourmet cuisine and the rare opportunity to meet a rescued herd of elephants.
After lunch, you will be transferred back to David Livingstone Safari Lodge, where you can relax and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Full-Day Safari in Chobe National Park
Today begins early as your One Niner Expeditions Tour Host arranges for your driver to collect you from lodge reception for a full-day excursion to Chobe National Park in Botswana.
Enjoy a boat cruise along the Chobe River, spotting elephants, hippos, crocodiles, and a variety of birdlife. A bush lunch is included, followed by a game drive through the park, where you may encounter lions, giraffes, and other iconic African wildlife.
You will return to David Livingstone Safari Lodge by approximately 6:00 p.m.
Important: Remember to bring your passport, as it is required for crossing the border into Botswana.

Mosi-oa-Tunya Game Drive and Wayi Wayi Cultural Experience
morning game drive in Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, followed by a short guided walk to observe endangered white rhinos in their natural habitat.
In the afternoon, visit the Wayi Wayi Art & Cultural Centre, a vibrant hub celebrating Zambian heritage through art, exhibitions, and traditional ceremonies. A highlight of the visit is witnessing a live reenactment of Imbusa ceremonies, offering a rare glimpse into the rituals that mark the transition to womanhood.
This immersive cultural experience goes beyond an art tour, providing a deeper understanding of Zambia’s life, community, and traditions, leaving you with lasting memories of the country’s rich cultural heritage.

After breakfast, check out of David Livingstone Safari Lodge. Your One Niner Expeditions Tour Host will ensure you are transferred to Livingstone Airport (LVI) for your onward flight.
