Photograph Ross's Geese and up to 4 other goose species plus Tundra Swans near Saskatoon, Canada on a 2-day private tour. Our experienced guide will ride in your personal or rented vehicle and direct you to the best locations . Tour lasts up to 8 hour on day 1 and up to 12 hours on day 2.
On day 1, we will focus on photographing Ross's Geese and Snow Geese where they feed in grain fields during the morning. We should later find lakes covered with thousands of Snow and Ross's Geese. Other birds we may see include Rough-legged Hawk, Lapland Longspur, Long-billed Dowitcher, Canada Geese, Cackling Geese,, Greater White-fronted Geese.
On day 2, you have 3 choices which depend upon the package you choose.
The first package will focus on watching thousands of Sandhill Cranes near Saskatoon on day 2.
A second package offers the option to visit Last Mountain Lake Bird Sanctuary where very large numbers of cranes and waterfowl gather.
A third package offers the option to view boreal forest birds in Prince Albert National Park.
We suggest you plan to book 3 nights of accommodation in Saskatoon for the nights before and after this tour. Recommended hotel information will be sent to registered guests.

You pick up guide in your personal or rented vehicle and drive to the Goose feeding area,..
Your guide will direct you to the best locations on public roads to photograph the geese while they feed in grain fields in the morning.
We normally break for lunch near a lake where tremendous flocks of Snow Geese, ducks and other birds occur. You can bring your own lunch or stop at a gas station to pick up food for lunch.
After lunch we will explore additional locations where geese may be roosting. If time permits, we may choose to stop at another birding hotspot or view a local landmark, which might include Saskatchewan's largest tree. We will then return to Saskatoon by about 3:30 pm.
