Tour Itinerary:
Following hotel pick up from your hotel in Bangkok City Area at 07:00 am by our English-speaking guide, depart to Kanchanaburi province. On arrival at Kanchanaburi, your first stop will be at Erawan Waterfalls.
After a few walks, you will enter Erawan Falls, with emerald green ponds. There are also several impressive long caves within the park, some deeper inside and a few along the roads near the park. Please bring your extra swimming clothes if you are interested in swimming.
Having lunch at Local Thai Restaurant, your next activity is to sail on the River Kwai on board an exotic bamboo raft, jump from the raft as many times as you like, and swim in the River Kwai.
Next, you'll visit The Burma-Thailand railway that was built in 1942–43. Its purpose was to supply the Japanese forces in Burma, bypassing the sea routes which had become vulnerable when Japanese naval strength was reduced in the Battles of the Coral Sea and Midway in May and June 1942. Once the railway was completed, the Japanese planned to attack the British in India, particularly the road and airfields used by the Allies to supply China over the Himalayan Mountains.
