This trip is a unique opportunity for coaches to see first hand what it's like to coach a professional soccer team. You will be involved every morning with FC Desamparados coaching staff, assisting the head coach in the delivery of our daily sessions. You will also be involved in the preparation for a game (if you come during the season). Before each session, you will sit down with our coaching staff to understand the reason behind all the exercises that will be performed. Our coaches will also have a chat with you on the first day, to tell you about the team, playing styles, formations, what they are working on, update on the season, etc.

In the afternoons, you will take part in our youth academy training sessions, shadowing our academy director. You will also have a chat before each training session where he will explain to you what the teams will be training that specific day and the reasons behind the exercises.

Finally, for every week you are part of this experience, you will have the chance to have one or two one-on-one meetings with some of the best coaches in the country where you will be able to discuss specific topics. Before your trip we will provide a list of 6 topics and depending on your interest we will pair you and arrange the coffee chat or dinner with the coach. 

Every week you will be part of 5 training sessions with the 1st team and 4 training sessions with our youth academy.

When booking, we recommend coming from Monday to Monday. This way, you will be able to train Monday through Friday + a game during the week or on Saturday.
