We had a great time! Asu was our guide and she is incredibly knowledgeable. It was so awesome to be so close to the birds and then snorkeling with the juvenile sealions was so fun! We saw all sorts of awesome things that day, including various fish, birds, lizards, snakes, a beautiful beach, crabs, I could go on an on. The only thing of concern I would like to bring up is the walk on Isla Lobos. I did not have any problems with it but several in my group did. It is a walk on volcanic rock and those rocks are loose and vary in sizes. Perhaps pictures of the walk or a better description of how physically demanding and slightly dangerous (if proper shoes are not worn, physical shape is not great, there are health issues, walking sticks are not brought if needed) it is would better prepare people prior to the excursion. Overall, this was probably my favorite excursion of the entire trip!

It was a fantastic trip and a memorable experience. Our guide in Quito and Tena was wonderful. He was so knowledgeable, patient and very thorough in explaining every step of the itinerary and precautions such as sun exposure and mosquito protection. He was thorough in every way. The Galapagos experience was fantastic. This was my bucket list dream trip and It fulfilled my every dream. The hotels were very nice and clean and with COMFORTABLE BEDS. Quito and Guayaquil hotels were luxury hotels. All the hotel breakfasts were delicious. The fruit was amazing and plentiful. The ONLY complaint I can requester is the Michael, the hotel owner in San Cristobal was less than accommodating. At first there was a five gallon water bottle available for us to refill our travel bottles. The second day he refused to let the breakfast staff to allow us to refill our water bottles. The third day he secured the water so the staff couldn’t refill our water. Also, on the third day, NO ONE was available in the office all day and evening so we couldn’t get essentials like toilet paper or to answer any questions. When we were leaving, one of our tour guests approached Michael to register a complain and he was arrogant. I found out later by the tour guide that SHE purchased the 5 gallon water out of her own pocket for our group and when she approached Michael with a comment, he put her in tears. I found out that Michael owns several business on the island and the comment that there aren’t many places that can service tour groups so he has the ability to do whatever he pleases. Of course, that comment is heresay. 99% of the trip was perfect. Michael made the group unhappy over water and toilet paper. How petty is that.

Had a great time, really good experience visiting an uninhabited Galapagos island. It was great to snorkel and see the sea life including sharks. The food was good too.
