Welcome to Amman. Our representative will meet you at the arrivals gate, will help you through airport formalities, later our driver will meet you and transfer you to your hotel for overnight.
After breakfast, to Madaba to visit St. George’s Greek Orthodox Church, where the Madaba Map is a map of the Middle East. Part of it contains the oldest surviving original cartographic depiction of the Holy Land and especially Jerusalem. It dates to the 6th century AD. Then drive Mt. Nebo is the memorial of Prophet Moses where God told him he would not see the Promised Land. Later we head to visit Machaerus, where John the Baptist was imprisoned and beheaded.
Then we proceed to visit Kerak castle, It is recorded that the Crusader King Baldwin I of Jerusalem had the castle built in 1132 CE. With its location midway between Shobak and Jerusalem, Karak became the capital of the Crusader district of Oultrejourdain.
We later proceed Wadi Rum: Tonight you are in for something spectacular. Famous movies filmed here; Matt Damon The Martian, Star Wars 9, Lawrence of Arabia.
After we arrive to Rum we’ll go exploring the Martian like desert in a 4X4 pick up for a couple of hours, later we arrive to the camp (and we bet you’re hungry by then) for a Bedouin specialty dinner: ZARB. What’s that you may ask? Well, it’s a mix of meat like lamb and chicken, rice, potatoes and carrots, placed in a hole in the ground, which is filled with flaming coals. The hole is then covered, and after a few hours, the meat and rice are all smoked, steamed, and grilled, all at the same time!
After dinner, you’re in for another treat; you’ll be sleeping in a Martian tent. Star Gazing in bed. What’s a Martian Tent you ask? In short: it’s a tent where you can sleep and stargaze at the same time of course! I told you you’re in for something spectacular!
After a good night sleep, and a good morning waking up looking out your window at the beautiful desert landscape, we are picked up and headed to Petra. The Nabateans carved this city in stone with simple tools 1500 years ago, and nothing will prepare you for the beauty and the sheer size of Al Khazna! Mark my words when it starts peeking at you by the end of the Siq (the pathway to Petra)! There are horse drawn carriages, camels and mules to assit you to see more of this spectacular place. Famous movies filmed here; Indian Jones and the Last Crusade, Then we are transferred to Amman for free evening to relax and overnight
Transfer to Allenby Bridge to cross to Israel - Meet at Allenby border, transfer to Massada, ascend by cable car to the top of the mountain, then back to Qumran visit the caves of the Dead Sea Scrolls. Continue north via Jordan Valley Road to the hotel for overnight.
Masada is a drop dead amazing Biblical monument. Masada, King Herod’s amazing mountain bunker was the last stronghold of the Jewish revolt against Rome (66-73AD). From this rock pile of cliffs and ruins, you have a great view of the Dead Sea and its surrounding desert. The entire site was only discovered in the late 19th Century!
Overnight in Tiberius.
Breakfast. We will begin the day with a boat trip on the Sea of Galilee. Next we will visit the Mount of the Beatitudes, scene of the Sermon on the Mount. Next we will know Tabgha, where the Miracle of the Multiplication of the Bread and the Fish took place and where is the Church of the Primate, place of confirmation of San Pedro; In Capernaum we will see the remains of the House of Peter and the ancient Synagogue, where Jesus preached. Lunch. We will continue bordering the Sea of Galilee towards Tiberias. In the afternoon, via Cana de Galilea, we will continue towards Nazareth. We will visit the Basilica of the Annunciation, the Carpintería de José and the Fuente de la Virgen. Dinner and accommodation. Optional: The baptismal site “Yardenit” on the Jordan River is a must-visit place for any visitor or pilgrim. Many of the tourist with not only to visit, but also be baptized in the same place where John baptized Jesus Christ. The site offers 12 separate baptismal pools, enabling different groups to comfortably conduct private worship ceremonies. Every year, over half a million tourists from all over the world visit the site
After breakfast, In the morning, we will enjoy the New City of Jerusalem. We will visit the Book Sanctuary in the Israel Museum, where the manuscripts of the Dead Sea and the Model representing the City of Jerusalem in the time of Jesus are on display.
We will make a stop at the Holocaust Museum. Lunch, Next we will continue towards Ein Karem, to visit the Shrines of the Visitation of Maria to her Prima Isabel and of San Juan Bautista. In the afternoon, departure to Bethlehem, the birthplace of Jesus Christ. We will visit the Church of the Nativity, the Grotto of San Jerónimo and the Church of Santa Catalina. Dinner and accommodation in Jerusalem.
Departure to the Mount of Olives, to make a panoramic tour of the walled city. Next we will visit the Gethsemane Garden and Basilica of the Agony. We will visit the Wailing Wall and continue through the Via Dolorosa to reach Golgotha, place of the crucifixion of Jesus and the Holy Sepulcher. Along the Via Dolorosa, there are 14 stations, in each station there is a chapel or sign that illustrates the episode. Lunch. Continue to Mount Sion, where the Tomb of King David and the Cenacle are located, the place of the Last Supper "The Eucharist" and "Pentecost", later we cross to Jordan.
Transfer to your hotel in Dead Sea for relaxation and overnight.
