After breakfast your guide will pick you up at the hotel to start the tour towards the northwest, your first stop will be the Mirador del Crater Pululahua is an active volcano and its crater is still inhabited by few people, it is one of the few inhabited in the world, its inhabitants are engaged in agriculture, livestock and tourism, the name Pululahua derives from the Kichwa word “Water Cloud”.
From the viewpoint you can observe the crater as well as its characteristic flora and fauna.

Continuing the tour your next stop is the Tulipe Site Museum, which means Water that comes down from the tolas, in ancient times this site was a ceremonial center where the culture of the Yumbos who inhabited the place, gathered for their celebrations of solstices, equinoxes and ceremonies of purification and gratitude, applying knowledge of architecture and geometry. In this place you can observe several tolas, ceremonial pools with stone borders and petroglyphs that narrate the history of this ancestral people.
