It was a great experience. Nixon and his team made sure everything was going well and provided good support for any issue we could have had. Food was great, especially dinner. Hotel and breakfast was really nice too. I missed the transportation to go back to Cusco because l ended up being late on my way back coming from Aguas Calientes by trail, but we were able to get another van that brought us to Cusco city center safely with no extra fee. The journey to Machu Picchu has many elements to it (bus, train, another bus, booking a hotel, dinner, a train home, another bus, etc). As a foreigner, it was nice not to worry about navigating all the different elements of the journey and have everything taken care of by this tour company. That being said, there were some misunderstandings and miscommunications, but I was always very impressed with Nixon's (my contact with the travel company) diplomatic way of receiving my feedback and offering solutions. Overall, I definitely would recommend this tour package to someone. Many thanks to Nixon and his team for helping us have such an incredible experience. I'm grateful for your patience with us as we navigated some of the miscommunications! We all make mistakes and misunderstandings happen, but I appreciated how the company made me feel like they cared about us.
