Depart New York City on your flight to San Juan, Puerto Rico. Meal service on-board. Upon arrival, meet your local tour guide who will escort you on your private motor coach to Fort San Cristóbal, known as the “Gibraltar of the Caribbean.” Its construction began in 1634 and took over a hundred years to complete. Constructed to fortify the Spanish defense of Old San Juan’s harbor, it is one of the largest Spanish forts ever built. The fort consists of five separate units that inter-connect via tunnels and has massive walls that rise 150 ft. above the sea. After visiting the Fort, transfer to Old San Juan for dinner at a local restaurant. D
