About this trip

Our guide, Jeremy, was the absolute BEST guide I have ever had on a group trip! He was patient, he was flexible, he was knowledgeable, he was prepared, and he took care of us! 
We got just enough of a taste of New York to want to go back! 
I do think charging us for checked baggage at booking then returning the money when prices went up so we had that hassle at the airport when traveling with a large group of minors was in poor taste. Surely there is a fixed rate in place when booking a group? That was a dirty trick.

The Bishop's School 2022 Tour to Carnegie Hall!

This trip was amazing. We were taken care of and provided clear instructions how the day would unfold. Sight seeing activites were great, food arrangements were nice. Barbara, our tour director, was absolutely amazing! 
Only thing that could  have been better is if the seating arrangements on the airplanes were aligned with those booking together in the reservation.  I went with my son on the trip.  My son has special needs and thought I’d be sitting next to him, but he was booked to sit in a different aisle and row than I was in. The flight attendants were great at asking people to change seats, but it caused some additional work. 


The guides were incredibly patient and gracious. Prepared to answer questions and troubleshoot issues when and if they arose. The hotel selection was terrific and the staff was helpful and quick to respond to issues. The meal choices were not really a NYC experience (native NYEr speaking) but given the number in our group and the tightness of the schedule, they did the best they could. All in all, a great trip with a terrific company. 

Dobyns-Bennett High School 2022 Tour to NYC and Carnegie Hall!

The accommodations were nice with easy bus travel once the trip started. We did have difficulty leaving the airport, however, with our bus in the wrong location/level. It took over an hour to be picked up. Our guide, Steven, was absolutely incredible! He made the trip!  During the trip we had concerns. Many of the restaurants were overpacked with other groups on the Harmony Tour, leading to overcrowding, lack of food and inability to safely adhere to COVID protocols. The restaurants could be lackluster at times, with food that was not very easily accessible to those with dietary restrictions. One restaurant in particular was especially bad. The Iguana had our large group along with two other large groups, crammed into a dark basement level. The bathroom was experiencing a flood, with watering leaking into the foyer. There wasn't adequate lighting to see the food, and the food lacked proper labeling. This was our restaurant after rehearsals ran over at Carnegie Hall. There was barely enough time to grab food, change and prepare for the evening's performance. In addition, our room reservations were mixed up between two floors, having many female students on the male floor. It was confusing and ill-organized. Breakfast at the hotel was a grab-and-go, but not very nutritious. It was truly our guide Steven who made the trip exceptional, providing our students with a true New York experience. We are forever grateful to him!

Providence High School 2022 Tour to NYC and Carnegie Hall!

Thank you for a wonderful experience! Our guide was amazing and very knowledgeable. Accommodations were great and convenient. This is an experience that my child will remember for the rest of her life!


All in all the trip was great.  It was a packed trip from the time we got up until we went to bed.  The one thing that could have been better was the food choice.  The breakfast at the hotel was less than to be desired since there was no protein to keep the students and chaperones energized all day.  The boxed lunches were decent, but the buffet dinners were also lacking, especially at the Mexican restaurant.  

My sons had a blast albeit jam packed. The food could have been better I think you forgot you are hosting hungry teenagers. 😊The restaurant on Friday night apparently had some major issues they were also packed in with other schools and with us still not over Covid was a bit unsafe one of my sons didn’t end up eating anything most of the trip other than food he purchased himself
Overall positive experience with room for improvement 

This trip was very successful. It was very rewarding to see my kids having so much fun on and off the stage. I'm glad no one got hurt or lost. I cannot wait for future opportunities. Shoutout to Nick, Maia, and Chris! Thank you to Jeremy and Hillary as well! Thank you all for the wonderful experience!

We had an amazing time! We packed a lot in during this trip and our  tour guide Matt was so knowledgeable, helpful and fun! 

Had a wonderful time! Everything was planned greatly! The only thing we really would have loved was more time planned for the beach!

My daughter had a fabulous time on her Providence High School 2022 Tour to NYC and Carnegie Hall!  I am a single parent and it brought me great comfort and reassurance to see that the itinerary was very well-planned and perfectly executed.  Rachel was always where I expected her to be and I was able to relax (to some extent while she was away😊) knowing that she was having a great time and that she was safe and well-cared for. We had such a wonderful experience and will definitely be working with COA and Harmony Tours again. Our favorite part by far was having a tour guide with us the entire time-Christine. Absolutely loved the tour in NYC! 
Jeremy was a fantastic guide and really topped off the trip by ending the tour with the panoramic view of the city.  The tour went smoothly and my daughter and I will cherish our memories of the trip! 

The chaperones and students had a wonderful time! Our two tour guides did a nice job with keeping the chaperones and students up-to-date with necessary details and information. 

Things that we wish could have been done differently were:
- students wanted and needed more free time at the hotel to just unwind and relax
- students did not enjoy the boat ride and going to the top of the Rockefeller Center
- students wanted more time to shop in the tourist-type of stores
- the first night's dinner (Angelo's) was outstanding with plenty of food, friendly wait staff, and quick service
- the second night's dinner (buffet at RIU) was subpar with not a lot of choices and the wait staff seemed to be a bit overwhelmed and not accommodating (rather rude actually)
-  the third night's dinner (buffet at Iguana) was pathetic with extremely dry food that looked and tasted like it came from a freezer meal and not a lot of food choices - if this was supposed to be a Mexican style dinner, there should have at least been a taco bar (we ended up purchasing our students pizza for after their performance at Carnegie Hall because they were extremely hungry)
- the fourth night's meal (fish and chips, steak, or cheeseburger at the diner) was great with delicious tasting food and wonderful wait staff

Mary was awesome and made the whole experience quite enjoyable.

Casper Children's Chorale 2022 Tour to Southern California!

The trip to NYC was good and we used Harmony tours.  Our tour guide from Harmony was John Comerford and he was very knowledgeable. Kenny our bus driver was excellent.  The accommodations were nice and the food too.  The end of the trip was not good since JetBlue canceled our flight. I realize many people were in the same situation but Harmony tours need to have a better contingency plan when this happens.  It was hard to reach them to ask what was going on and they should have stepped up to put us in a hotel instead of letting us sit on the floor for 8 hours in the airport with no food options.  John stayed with us the whole time even though he was off the clock until we were on shuttles to a hotel. After many phone calls, they did finally book us on 3 separate flights to get home on other airlines the next day.


Shakopee High School 2022 Tour to NYC and Carnegie Hall!

We had an excellent time! The buses in CA were significantly more comfortable than the WY busses! I wish we had a bit more downtime at the hotel, my girls wanted to swim at the hotel pool, however, I understand why we didn't, there was much to do and a  set amount of time to do it in. 

We had a good trip. We had some issues with the hotel and bussing, but we didn’t let it bother us too much.  The hotel was run down and kind of dirty. The check in process was not good. Our rooms were not ready for us when we arrived and they were not the rooms we had paid for.  It took almost 3 hours to get everyone checked in.

Bussing issues started with the buses being dirty. Seats were obviously stained and the buses were not cleaned thoroughly before they arrived to pick us up. 

We had an issue with the bus drivers not following the instructions at Disneyland, and when the Disney staff directed them back stage, one bus driver was disrespectful to the staff and then turned his anger to me and my assistant director. When we pointed out the fact the the correct information was in his paperwork, which he insisted it wasn’t, he then stormed off and did not speak to any of us for the rest of the trip.(2 days). 

The Disney part of our trip was amazing. The workshop and performance were awesome, and the students had a great time.


Elko High School 2022 Tour to Anaheim, CA!

We had an absolute wonderful experience.  Matt Kessler was an amazing tour guide and went above and beyond to help us.  My only complaint is that the one day there was way too many things scheduled and it was too rushed.  We had NASA,  BBQ lunch , Coco beach and Planet Hollywood dinner.  I felt we had to rush our kids the entire day and they only had 1/2 hour to swim in the ocean.  This was something the kids were really looking forward to.  They were very disappointed to not have more beach time and be able to relax.  That day needed to be scaled back and it would have been much more enjoyable for everyone.  For some kids this was their fist time being able to go in the ocean so they would have preferred to have spent more time there.  The meals at Planet Hollywood were not the greatest so I know the kids would have preferred to skip that.
Overall it was still a great experience.

My daughter took the trip. She said things went smooth. As a parent, everything went smooth for me. 

Green Valley HS 2022 Tour to Aloha State Music Festival!

The trip was great. We had a wonderful time.

We had an absolutely incredible time!!  Our tour guides were great - especially Julie Bass!!  Everything was so organized and any little problems that arouse were taken care of. We will definitely use your company again and again!!

Tour guide was beyond incredible. She was so helpful, she helped plan some things for my NEXT trip. 

Showing up 3 hours early for flights was a super drag. I feel the tour company does it to keep down their liability. Please cut that out. 

Pearl Harbor was a bit of a bore, as was shopping in the flea market. 

But the Luau was good - the traditional Hawaiian music and dancing was a high point for me. It was a lot of waiting around tho

The trip to the overlook was nice, along with the history lesson there. The Hard Rock cafe I could have done without - just commercial garbage. 



Diablo Valley College 2022 Tour to Aloha State Music Festival

We had a great time. Jeremy and Hillary and bus one's driver David were exceptional, I'm sure bus two's driver was exceptional too but I was on bus 1 so didn't drive with him. I have dairy and gluten allergies, you made certain there was always something for me to eat, thank you! My only disappointment was with Chinatown, it's not a great part of town, the kids didn't love the area or the shopping. Also, more time in Times Square would have been appreciated, it was a mad rush after dinner before the show.

Overall, this was a very positive experience, the kids couldn't stop saying what a great time they had. Thank you for a memorable trip.

Comfortable buses for the long trip. Some mix ups with rooms at the hotel but they were comfortable and good breakfast. Fast, tiring trip but fun

If you want a couple suggestions:

I did not see anywhere that John Bynum and Derrick Fox would be clinicians. They are excellent and would have been even more reason to attend this festival.

When we sang the group selections with Jace, I think we could have sung them from our seats towards the center of the sanctuary since we were 90% of the audience. I think it might have been a more satisfying group feeling.

I wish there was some kind of organized reception to meet the other directors and clinicians. It would have been great to talk, chat and get to know each of them a little better. It would also be great to be able to talk to Chris and Nick a little bit more as well.

We appreciate what you do.

We had a nice time and enjoyed the concert. We did not care for the hotel. Didn’t realize how bad it was or else we would have opted to stay someplace else.  Everything else was great!

Coleen Hogge Vocal Coalition 2022 Tour to Hawaii!

I was so impressed with how well this trip was planned. Keeping a bunch of teenagers engaged and entertained is no small task. The tour operator, and the specific staff who spent the week with us, did beautifully. Everything was extremely well planned and timed. The events and activities were completely age appropriate and well timed. Just long enough for kids but not too long. It was a truly wonderful trip for the kids.

Fantastic! Organized, fun and memorable. 

I am a parent of a child that was on this trip.  My daughter loved it!  For as large a group as it was, everything was so organized and the software used to keep track of all the arrangements for my child was really user friendly.  I do wish I'd been able to see their flight itinerary in there as I was not able to find it.  I'm truly thankful our school used Wetravel/Harmony tours for this trip.

It was fun but very rushed.  Not a lot of downtime to relax and catch up .  
The tour guide Diana was terrific.  So sweet and knowledgeable.
