About your trip

The great Torres del Paine National Park, located at the southernmost point of the Andes, in Chilean Patagonia, is considered the Eighth Wonder of the world. This iconic destination is not only renowned for its breathtaking landscapes but also recognized as the best place on the planet for the sighting and photography of one of the most elusive big cats: the puma, also known as the mountain lion.

Seeing and photographing pumas in their natural habitat is one of the most incredible wildlife experiences. On this photo tour through Patagonia, we have carefully planned 4 full days dedicated to tracking and photographing these majestic animals within the stunning scenery of Torres del Paine.

DAY 3-6 | LAND OF PUMAS image

Hotel: Ovejero Patagonico

In the next four days we will leave, very early in the morning, towards a private land in the Torres del Paine National Park to focus exclusively on the photographs of the Puma (puma concolor).

The departure from the hotel will depend on the time of sunrise; the ideal time is to be already in the place 30 minutes before it, in this way we can also enjoy beautiful sunrises.

Once we find the Puma, we will stay with it, photographing and enjoying this encounter.

We will remain in the reserve as long as possible. Then, after the last flash of light on the horizon, we will return to the hotel to have dinner and rest.

*In addition to the pumas, in the reserve it is possible to photograph guanacos, birds of prey and, of course, amazing landscapes.
