About your trip

The great Paine, located at the southernmost point of the Andes, in Chilean Patagonia, is considered the Eighth Wonder of the world. In addition, to be the best place on the planet for sighting and photography of one of the big cats, the puma or mountain lion.

Seeing and photographing pumas is one of the most incredible experiences in Torres del Paine National Park. However, nature is unpredictable, so we have planned 4 days to look for and photograph them, so in this way we can guarantee the greatest number of opportunities and increase the chances of the desired photos.

Once the photographs of the pumas have been obtained, there will be a full day to photograph the Patagonian landscapes, since Torres del Paine National Park is one of the best places in the world for it.

In the way back to Punta Arenas there will be the opportunity to photograph the won- derful condor, the iconic bird of the high Andes, in a privileged place where more than 100 individuals have been recorded flying at the same time.

DAY 3-6 | LAND OF PUMAS image

Hotel: Ovejero Patagonico

In the next four days we will leave, very early in the morning, towards a private land in the Torres del Paine National Park to focus exclusively on the photographs of the Puma (puma concolor).

The departure from the hotel will depend on the time of sunrise; the ideal time is to be already in the place 30 minutes before it, in this way we can also enjoy beautiful sunrises.

Once we find the Puma, we will stay with it, photographing and enjoying this encounter.

We will remain in the reserve as long as possible. Then, after the last flash of light on the horizon, we will return to the hotel to have dinner and rest.

*In addition to the pumas, in the reserve it is possible to photograph guanacos, birds of prey and, of course, amazing landscapes.
