Puno is a small port city located on the shore of Lake Titicaca in southeastern of Peru. It offers a departure point to the many Inca and Pre-Inca ruins and to Lake Titicaca and its islands.
Puno is considered the Folkloric Capital of Peru, from its wealth of artistic and cultural expressions, particularly dance. There are more than 300 different local dances representing century old traditions
inherited from the Incas and the colony.
