the bus was in perfect condition, but the heating was kept way too high so we couldnt sleep at all on the overnight trip. seat were extremly comfortable... if not for the heater being set way too high it would be a 5 star.

none of the ventilation was working, so as soon as the sun started hiting the bus we were all in a furnace. my seat tilt lever was broken, so my seat was tilting back as we were going up and forward as we were going downhill. the suspension on one of the wheel was broken so the wheel was hiting the faring really hard at every bump making really heavy and concerning noise. Avoid transzela, use cruz del mar or turismo mer for properly maintained bus.

Bus tickets had been highly overpriced. We had to change our bus tickets vouchers to the bus operator tickets and saw the „normal“ price - we felt like idiots. In addition the transfer booked at Cusco was late at arrival and with USD 10 totally overpriced. Our pick up in Puno to the bus station is also not to recommend. In general it is worth 10 Soles. We paid up front USD 10. The taxi driver did not bring us into the bus station until we paid additional 3 Soles. Book directly at the bus company and not via Inca express and take the official taxi. Having dropped that complain early no answer was received.
