🌊 Albatrosses, Snorkeling & Remote Galápagos Landscapes

The Española Island – Punta Cevallos, Tortuga Islet & El Manzanillo Beach Tour is a full-day adventure combining exceptional birdwatching, volcanic landscapes, snorkeling, marine wildlife, and time to relax on a remote white-sand beach.

Departing from San Cristóbal, this experience takes you to one of the oldest and most spectacular islands in the Galápagos archipelago.

It is an excellent choice for travelers who want to combine wildlife observation, hiking, snorkeling, photography, and pristine coastal scenery in a single day.

🐦 Punta Cevallos

The adventure begins with approximately two hours of navigation toward Española Island.

Your first stop is Punta Cevallos, where you will enjoy a guided hike of approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes through volcanic trails surrounded by remarkable wildlife.

This area is home to an important colony of the Galápagos Albatross (Waved Albatross), a species that nests on Española Island.

Depending on the season, you may have the opportunity to observe courtship behavior, nesting activity, or young albatrosses preparing for their first flights over the Pacific.

Punta Cevallos is an especially rewarding destination for birdwatchers, wildlife enthusiasts, and nature photographers.

🤿 Tortuga Islet

After the guided hike, the tour continues toward Tortuga Islet, where you will enjoy a snorkeling experience.

The clear waters surrounding the islet support a diverse marine ecosystem.

The combination of clear water, volcanic formations, and marine wildlife makes this an excellent location to discover another side of Española Island.

🏖 El Manzanillo Beach

The final stop of the day is El Manzanillo Beach, a beautiful white-sand beach surrounded by a remote and largely untouched natural environment.

Here you will have time to relax, walk along the shoreline, enjoy the scenery, and appreciate the peaceful atmosphere before beginning the return journey to San Cristóbal.

During the navigation around Española, it is also possible to observe seabirds and, occasionally, marine mammals such as dolphins or orcas, depending entirely on the season and natural ocean activity.
