We’ve travelled all day! Sleep in and wake when your body tells you!  Enjoy an all-sensory morning exploration through the Pacuare Lodge.  Take in the sights and sounds of this breath-taking place we’ll call home for a week.  After check-in and breakfast, let’s soak in the pool and get to know each other a little more! We will set the pace and the tone for our group, activities and needs for our adventures.

Community Night - 

You can spend the early morning sitting in the rocking chairs outside your cabin or come to main area and get ready for a hearty Tico breakfast. Today we have a full day of fun and adventure. We will start out by completing our zipline course, which features five different ziplines ranging from 30 meters to 620 meters. Not only are they long and fast but they offer the best views you will find anywhere of the Pacuare River. Then we will take a short hike back to the lodge where we will have some lunch and an hour of downtime. After lunch, we’ll take a trek through the jungle to one of the most pristine waterfalls you will find on the Pacuare River. This waterfall features a 27 foot jump, which your guide will show you how to do. Afterward, we’ll walk back to the lodge and hit full relax mode with a chance to reminisce about the full day of adventure.

This is not an ordinary trail ride; this rich cultural experience explores the flora and fauna, animals, tropical birds, and poisonous frogs while making our way through waterfalls and rainforest on horseback. Our ride experience is complete with a Tico meal back at the ranch. 

Want to try a new food or get a bag, T-shirt, snow globe? Let’s go into town for a little shopping! After lunch, we will tour town, animal sanctuary, end the evening learning and enjoying the process of making cocoa.

 🌞 Sunscreen, water, lunch~Let’s head to the beach!  We are going to spend the day at the beach!  Be prepared for the amazing beauty of the Caribbean!  Leaving early to catch the best of the day!  Returning late!

With thrilling Class II to Class V rapids flowing 67 miles from the Cuericí mountains to the Caribbean Sea, the Pacuare River is one of the world’s most scenic and best rafting rivers. "It’s a death-defying yet exhilarating experience“ We’ll get up early, eat a healthy meal and get to the river for a rafting experience like none other. 

Last day to enjoy the PuraVida life.  Opportunity is available for all who would like to join in a quick morning SUP paddle, a rainforest hike, or time by the pool before packing up the treehouse and enjoying our last dinner together.  Day is open to you to take in the last of Costa Rican offerings.
