QMP dirt bike rental Fridays are here. Ride a fully prepped DRZ400 at Queensland Moto Park without the hassle of owning, maintaining, or transporting a bike.This is a self-guided park day for experienced riders (or riders who have completed our Intro to Dirt Bike Tour), giving you the freedom to explore QMP’s trails at your own pace. Experience the scenic views and mountain ranges that surround QMP on motorbike. , More than 50 kilometres of trails wind through the deep gullies, alongside creek beds and upwards to the top of the many ridgelines which offer the best view of the Scenic Rim.

Morning – Pick Up

• Arrive at QMP 7am November to March and 8am March to November

• Complete paperwork, ID check, and $2,000 security authorisation hold

• Quick bike handover and controls check

• Pay your QMP day pass directly at the park

Daytime – Riding at QMP

• Ride the trail network at your leisure

• Enjoy a full day of riding on a well-maintained, capable DRZ400

Afternoon – Return

• Return the bike at the agreed time and location by 3pm for full day hire.

• Bike inspection completed

• Security hold released (pending no damage or issues)

To make your day smooth and comfortable, please bring:

Riding essentials

• Helmet

• Goggles

• Long pants (riding pants preferred)

• Long-sleeve shirt or riding jersey

• Motorcross boots 

• Gloves

• Hydration pack or water bottle

Optional but recommended

• Knee guards or body armour

• Sunglasses or goggles

• Sunscreen

• Snacks/lunch

• Spare clothes

If you need gear, let us know in advance, and we may be able to assist.

Experience level

• This rental is best suited to riders with prior dirt bike experience, or those who have completed our Intro to Dirt Bike Tour.

$2,000 Security Authorisation Hold

• A $2,000 security hold is required on a valid credit card at pick-up.

• This is NOT a charge — it is a pre-authorisation only.

• The hold is released once the bike is returned undamaged and all conditions are met.

Damage & Responsibility

• You are responsible for any damage to the bike while it is in your care.

• Repair costs will be deducted from the security hold if required.

Weather & QMP Closure

• If Queensland Moto Park is closed due to weather or unsafe conditions on your booked Friday, your rental will be rescheduled to the next available Friday (subject to availability).

• No refunds — rescheduling only.

Bike Use

• The bike must only be ridden at Queensland Moto Park on your booked Friday.

• Reckless riding, racing, or misuse of the bike is not permitted.

Pick-up & Return Times

• Late pick-ups do not extend your riding time.

• Late returns may incur additional fees.
