Useful information
The tours we offer are with groups.
You can book the quad for 1 or 2 persons, at different rates.
You can drive a quad when you have a drivers licence (European drivers license is sufficient).
The driver will be held responsible for him/herself and the vehicle.
The second passenger needs to be 7 years or older and falls under the responsibility of the driver.
No deposit required when going on a tour.
Transfer is included, the day of the tour you will be picked up at your accommodation.

There are 2 different excursions:
4 hours - Sandy south
4 hours- Cultural north

The tour runs everyday from 9h-13h & from 14h-18h.

Itinerary
It’s the longest and most complete excursion. You will have the chance to admire the entire south – east side of the island with all the breathtaking beaches and sand dunes.
The tour starts in the former capital, Rabil. You will get safety instructions from the guide and get familiar with your quad on the test circuit. Together you will drive through the volcanic inland to Povoçao Velha, the first village on the island. The landscapes starts to change and before you know it, you arrive on the best and well known beach of Santa Monica. We have a swim stop here before continuing along the coastline. The next stop is Varandinha beach with its rock formations and caves. The way back is over the spectacular high sand dunes of Morro d'Areia followed by the main road back to Rabil.
It's recommended to bring sunglasses and/or a scarf for the dusty conditions and to bring a bottle of water.
The tour runs everyday from 9h-13h & from 14h-18h.
A photographer will go with you on the tour. The pictures can be bought at the end of the tour for €25 per quad.
