What to expect in Elissa’s classes? 

Workshop 1: Courageous Connection through Handstand Skills

This workshop is for the novice and the advanced yogi alike! Explore handstand drills and skills from the ground up to build understanding and strength for handstands. As you learn about the physical mechanics of balancing on your hands and discover the connection to your own strength, you will be able to fly as far as your courage can take you!

Workshop 2: Clarity of Intuition through Yin & Yoga Nidra

Sometimes the path forward is obstructed by thoughts, worries, attachments and desires; the more cluttered our headspace, the less clear we feel about our path forward. Enjoy this workshop to let go, do less, observe your experience without attachment and explore your inner world. This experience will take you through Yin Yoga postures to gently open and relax physical tension, while Yoga Nidra (a mindful sleep meditation) will guide you to explore deep states of consciousness. The level of clarity this opens up for each participant will be deeply personal!

Workshop 3: Create Your Vision

Experience a short mindful meditation to get present with your personal connection and clarity, then use that headspace to create a vision board for 2024!

Guiones is a quaint beach area known for its pristine white sandy beach, friendly consistent waves and breathtaking sunsets. Wrapped within a wildlife preserve, our community is home to a jaw dropping array of biodiversity, talented artists, yogis and surfers. The beaches of Guiones, Nosara town and the larger municipality of Nicoya are within one of the world’s 5 Blue Zones; regions where people live longer, healthier and happier lives.

Our boutique accommodation is nestled in the heart of North Guiones, the activity hub of Nosara, Costa Rica. This means we are within walking distance of the beach, restaurants (& bars), stores, and other conveniences and activities. Operated by a small family business, our guests feel at home with personal service and private access to our amenities. The staff is here to ensure your retreat is realized as envisioned.

A $500 USD non-refundable initial deposit will secure your spot on the retreat or you may choose to pay in full.The remaining balance will be split into instalment payments with the total amount due 60 days prior to the retreat start date. Alternate payment plans are available, please email us at hello@startyouradzenture.com to set up a plan that is flexible for you.Please note, our cancellation policy is as follows:

• Initial deposits are strictly non-refundable
• If cancelled between 90 to 60 days of the Retreat start date, 25% of the Retreat price paid is forfeited. Any remaining balance paid may be used as credit for future bookings up to one year of the cancellation date. 
• If cancelled 60 days or less prior to the Retreat start date, 100% of the Retreat price paid is forfeited
• If you choose to join the Retreat after the start date or leave the Retreat prior to the end date, there are no refunds

Please do not book your flight until you have received a confirmation to do so. You will be provided with instructions on when to arrive/depart. 

An information package will be sent 30 days prior to departure and will include the retreat schedule, recommended packing list, and trip details. 

It is your responsibility to confirm your passport has 6 months validity prior to departure from your origin.

1. Who can attend this retreat?

Our retreats are for everyone! It doesn't matter what your age, gender, race, weight, height, flexibility and level of experience is - the practice of yoga is for every single being.  New to yoga? We all have to start somewhere and retreats are the perfect space to start and/or grow your practice. Don't worry about how advanced others may be and remember this journey is yours, take all the time and be patient with yourself. If you're new, let us know so we can make sure our teachers are prepped to assist you. 

2. I've never travelled before and I don't have anyone to go with. Can I come alone?

Yes!! Before you go, we are here to guide you and get you prepared as much as possible for this retreat and travel experience. With us, you're never alone! We set up a group chat to communicate with one week prior to the retreat to check in and update each other as you start your travel from where ever you may be. We'll pair you up with a roommate, who will most likely end up being a lifelong friend.  You may come alone, but you'll end up leaving with a community of like minded people who will forever be connected through this experience. 

3. What do I need to pack?

30 days before your retreat, we'll send you a guide of what to pack and bring. 

4. What type of travel insurance do I need and why is it mandatory?

Your insurance will need to cover emergency medical and trip cancellation/interruption. This is to protect you in case of any unforeseen circumstances either before or on your retreat. 

5. Do you offer monthly payment plans?

Yes! Once you've paid the deposit amount, the remainder of your balance can be split and paid by the remaining months left until the full balance is due.
