I'm a wife, mother of four, and world traveler who's explored all seven continents and visited more than 50 countries. As the founder of the Atlanta Black Theatre Festival and Thy Queendom Come, I've spent decades bringing people together through the arts, travel, and meaningful experiences.

I've also spent years creating and hosting retreats and international travel experiences. I've witnessed women return home with fresh perspectives, renewed energy, and the courage to make meaningful changes in their lives.

I've been coming to Roatán since 2019, and I fell so deeply in love with this island that I bought property here.

For me, Roatán is paradise. And I don't use that word lightly.

Something happens to me when I'm here. The fresh food nourishes me. I get honey directly from a local beekeeper, enjoy wild-caught seafood, and appreciate Honduras's connection to Dr. Sebi and his philosophy of natural living.

I soak in the warm Caribbean Sea, exfoliate my skin with the sand, nourish my hair with traditional Honduran Batana oil, and enjoy Gifiti as part of my personal digestive cleansing ritual.

2. Is Roatán safe for travelers?

Roatán is a hidden Central American gem that welcomes 1.6 million international travelers annually. This vibrant Caribbean destination has become exceptionally popular with Canadian vacationers.

Roatán is one of the safest islands in the Caribbean for tourists, acting as an isolated island oasis located 35 miles off the coast of mainland Honduras. While the mainland faces higher crime rates, Roatán relies heavily on international tourism and maintains a strong, dedicated presence of tourist police throughout its main hubs like West Bay and West End, where we will be hanging out. Violent crime targeting vacationers is extremely rare, so your primary security considerations are simply practicing basic travel awareness, avoiding unlit beaches at night, and safeguarding your belongings from petty theft while enjoying the beach.

I'm not simply inviting you to a destination. I'm welcoming you to an island I know, love, and consider my home away from home.

3. Will I have to share personal information or participate in every activity?

Our cuisine draws inspiration from Dr. Sebi's philosophy of natural living, but this is not a vegan retreat (although vegan options are available), a restrictive diet, or a detox program. We're celebrating the joy of eating well!

With only ten guest spaces available, a $500 nonrefundable deposit secures your preferred accommodation, subject to availability.

Convenient installment payments make it easier to plan ahead, with your final balance due 60 days before arrival.

All payments are nonrefundable, but reservations may be transferred once to another eligible guest, subject to approval. Travel insurance is required to help protect your investment against covered unforeseen circumstances.

8. How do I get to Roatán, and will someone meet me at the airport?

We've taken care of your arrival and departure transportation!

Simply book your flight to Juan Manuel Gálvez International Airport, Coxen Hole (RTB) in Roatán, Honduras.

We'll coordinate your scheduled airport transfers to and from Bella Casa Mansion, so you can focus on enjoying your Royal Reset.

Before departure, you'll receive arrival instructions and helpful travel information to make your journey as smooth as possible.

From the moment you arrive, we want you to feel welcomed and beautifully cared for.

We understand that plans sometimes change. To provide flexibility while honoring our commitments to retreat vendors and service providers, Micah 6-8 Media, LLC offers the following cancellation credit policy:

• 90 Days or More Before Arrival: Receive a 100% credit of all retreat payments made, including your deposit, toward the next scheduled Royal Reset Retreat.

• 60–89 Days Before Arrival: Receive a 75% credit of all retreat payments made, including your deposit, toward the next scheduled Royal Reset Retreat. The remaining 25% is nonrefundable.

• Fewer Than 60 Days Before Arrival: All payments are nonrefundable, and no future retreat credit will be issued.

• Credit Terms: Credits may be used once, are subject to availability, and apply exclusively to the next scheduled Royal Reset Retreat organized by Micah 6-8 Media, LLC. Credits cannot be carried forward to subsequent retreats.

• Higher Price: If the next retreat has a higher price, guests are responsible for the difference. If the next retreat has a lower price, any remaining credit is nonrefundable.

• Limitations: If no subsequent Royal Reset Retreat is offered within 18 months of the originally scheduled retreat date, unused credits will be refunded.

• Reservation Transfers: Guests may request a one-time transfer of their reservation to another eligible participant, subject to advance written approval.

• Organizer Cancellation: If Micah 6-8 Media, LLC cancels the retreat for any reason, guests will receive a full refund of all retreat payments, including deposits and installments.
