This was a fantastic experience! In the morning we visited a traditional Andean indigenous family for a really intimate glimpse into their life and culture. Our guide Daniel was really very knowledgeable and it was very apparent that he really knew many of the local communities and had good relationships with them. We felt that he really opened doors to us that we would otherwise not have ventured through. The Quilotoa crater lake was really interesting. My husband chose not to walk down to the crater but I opted to do it. It took me nearly an hour because the path is very long, steep and there's a lot of loose stone. Daniel made sure there would be a horse to bring me up and I was extremely grateful. It was a long but really rewarding day and Daniel made it all the more special.

We're an older couple and my husband has some difficulty with walking but our guide Diego was fantastic. He chose an appropriate hike for us that allowed everyone to have a wonderful experience. We had an especially fun visit to the chocolate factory, which should not be missed. We loved Diego's knowledge, enthusiasm and love of the region. We felt like we gained a real appreciation for Ecuador, it's traditions and especially the Mindo region.

We had such a great day and had so many wonderful local experiences like tasting the wonderful biscuits, visiting beautiful volcanoe lakes and waterfalls. The indigenous market was fantastic with terrific local handicrafts at very reasonable prices. I really appreciated that our guide, Daniel, was able to navigate us through the market, which can be pretty overwhelming. He was extremely knowledgeable and really helped us understand and appreciate the local cultures. This tour was very informative, fun, and adventurous and exceeded all our expectations.

This was our second guided tour with Latin Adventures & we had a fun day with our guide & driver, Daniel. A visit with the hummingbird's was a real highlight with waterfalls and the cloud forests a joy. Thanks Daniel and if we hadn’t been leaving Quito, we'd happily have explored yet another guided experience with LA.
