- CYA AdventuresChoose your own adventures (CYA) including: reserved cabanas, offsite adventures, coaching, healing sessions, and body work
- Coaching with co-LABIncludes one-on-one coaching session with Viveka, Monica or Maura on-site to support integration
- Daily practice sessionsSomatic/embodiment practices (tai ji, meditation, somatics, yoga). We anticipate some with established practices and some newer to these practices and/or curious about different approaches
- Cultural groundingWeaving ritual, music, art, and dance welcoming and respecting the breadth of participant cultures and practices and being led by local invitation, capacity, and offers

co-LAB was formed in 2016 by three women of color consultants collaborating on race equity and leadership development, movement building, and organizational transformation work. Our approach is informed by our work with innovation, emotional justice, mindfulness, embodiment, change management, complexity, group dynamics, and liberation and equity. We are core faculty for Move to End Violence, The Rockwood Leadership Institute, and The Strozzi Institute.

It was really beautiful and easeful. I loved the accommodations and the proximity to the villa-- the right amount of community and privacy. I think arranging for snack or other items pick up before coming to the location or knowing how to do that would have been helpful information. I know it was in the communication but may have been helpful in terms of coordinating travel (e.g. I may have come in earlier to try and stop somewhere) or maybe just doing one run after everyone was there (that may have happened and I may have missed it).
My only challenges were with travel due to weather-- which is not something under anyone's control. Food was DELICIOUS esp the Mofongo.

I had an amazing time being in community with all the attendees and I appreciated the overall structure and format in addition to offerings that were provided by the facilitators. They were amazing hosts and ensured I had a seamless and restful experience.

Radical Sabbatical was a beautiful invitation to set down the heaviness of our grind and hustle, an invitation not often extended to Black & Brown queer folks. We don't have to earn rest yet finding the space to drop into the practice of rest is hard to find let alone build for ourselves. From meals to flow of the week, to location, and compas in attendance, the entire event was tended and nurtured in such a way I was able to melt into the slowness.
I enjoyed my deepest sleeps in my days at Radical Sabbatical. It is now an event I will put on the calendar for years to come. Mil gracias.

This trip was a life changing incredible experience for me and a perfect way to start the year.
It was a wonderful reset for me in mind, body and soul.
I have never gone on sabbatical before and I am so grateful to have had my first trip dedicated to restoration led by this group of phenomenal and deeply thoughtful women. I felt supported and cared for the entire time and hope to join them again for the next one and every single one after that!!
