This trip was amazing! I didn’t know what to expect going in, but I’m so glad I took the leap and came on my own. I met so many inspiring people, and the chance to disconnect in the woods helped me step back and think about the bigger picture, rather than getting caught up in the daily stuff. It was absolutely unique. The idea to put a bunch of techies in the wilderness and Let them pass the time doing outdoor activities, board games, ddr and karaoke was more bonding than any other techco ference could try to attempt with their ice breakers. Amazing trip. Camp is always so much fun! This trip had especially good food. Beautiful lake and really interesting activities.

Flights

We will have some sponsored snacks and fruit, but bring your own snacks for in between provided meals.

We will have the bus stop on the way to camp to pick up any drinks needed.

Beverages beyond water

 Majority of lodging is shared, 12 bunks per cabin. You can choose to be in a room with 2, 4, or 8 people. There are also camping spots and a couple private cabins available.

Lodging

Meals are served buffet-style and feature locally-grown food whenever possible. Dietary restrictions will be accommodated.

Swimming (cold), kayak/canoe, hiking and trail running, arts, outdoor survival classes, fishing, more to come!

It’s hard to name a more iconic river in Alaska than the Kenai. Everyone who has held a rod in their hands knows that it’s one of the best places on Earth to fish for Salmon.&nbsp; We will be fishing for Rainbow Trout and Dolly Varden on the Upper Kenai River. The world-famous Kenai River begins in Cooper Landing, flowing 82 miles from Kenai Lake and emptying into Cook Inlet. Included:- 4 hours of guided fishing. 4 people to a boat up to 4 - 5 boats available, possibly&nbsp;more if&nbsp;needed.&nbsp;- Transportation to/from Rails Camp, no rental car needed Not Included:A $15 permit will be required upon arrival at the outfitter. This is not included in the $230.&nbsp;

Half-Day Guided Fishing: Kenai River

Important: 2-person room tickets are designed for guests attending the retreat together. To purchase this ticket option, you will need to bring someone you know as your roommate. Fun and safe for all ages, surrounded by the spectacular Chugach mountains. Our guided river rafting and float trips are the adventures of a lifetime. From the upper Kenai river at Cooper landing, we voyage through the wilderness and get an in-depth look at the history of the area, the scenery and the Alaskan wildlife. Our trips even venture into the National Wildlife Refuge where we often spot bear and moose. You’ll also get to see the world famous combat fishing area where thousands of fishermen fish among millions of salmon each year.&nbsp; Included:- The Upper Kenai Scenic Float: Approx. 2-3 hours- Transportation to/from Rails Camp, no rental car needed
