Discover some of the most striking landscapes of the Atacama Desert with our Rainbow Valley Tour. During the excursion, you will encounter significant traces of the Andean past, impressive rock formations, and colorful natural scenery. We will visit the Yerbas Buenas petroglyphs, the colorful Rainbow Valley, and the "Río Seco" (Dry River) area.

07:00 AM – We will begin our excursion by picking you up at your accommodation within the town of San Pedro de Atacama. From there, we will head west, traveling through the desert's distinctive landscapes.

Our first stop is Yerbas Buenas, an area of ​​great historical and archaeological significance. Here, you can view one of the region's most important collections of petroglyphs, created by ancient indigenous caravans that traversed the routes connecting northeastern Argentina, the Bolivian Altiplano, and the Pacific Ocean.

We will take a walk—approximately 30 minutes each way—to enjoy the scenery and take photos. Along the way, our guide will share information about the area's geological features.

After visiting Rainbow Valley, we will travel to the area known as Río Seco, where we will find a small valley surrounded by desert landscapes.

We will go for a walk to admire the natural formations and the surroundings, with time set aside for photography and simply enjoying the peaceful landscape.

Once the visit concludes, we will head back to San Pedro de Atacama. The tour ends upon our return to the town.
