About this trip

Raise your vibration... Come explore Chakras and Bandhas and how to utilize your very structure to create a deeper connection to your highest self.  This weekend will be appropriate for students as well as teachers.  An exploration of yoga as it relates to the subtle and the gross aspects of reality. We will discover where our physical deficiencies may be holding us back energetically and use this as an opportunity to work in new ways to raise the vibration and awareness...

Our first night will be an opportunity to get to know one another during our opening ceremony and set some intentions for ourselves for the extended weekend.  We will have 3 extended hour intensive workshops in the afternoons and in the mornings we'll have hour and half classes to loosen you up for the day.  There will also be a chance to explore Yoga Nidra (Yogic Sleep-deep relaxation), an evening movement workshop, as well as a  Kirtan on the final evening.  We want the students to feel free to participate in as much of the offerings as possible or we to take the time they need to relax, swim in the pool or hike in the surrounding area.

Your Teachers

Rich Logan travels the world studying and teaching massage therapy and Yoga. He is former faculty at the Chicago School of Massage Therapy, The Pacific College of Oriental Medicine, Rishikul Yoga, Mathatitu Yoga Ashram, done hundreds of workshops, trainings and retreats internationally, guest lectured at the Auyurvedic College in Mysore, India, Hamburg, Germany, the Sacred Valley in Peru, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, featured at Wanderlust Chicago, and Bhakti fest Midwest. He fronts Akoustikirtan, a revolving band of world-class musicians and literally has played Kirtan around the world. A meditation practitioner since 1978, serious student of Yoga since 1998, teacher since 2001. He incorporates his knowledge of anatomy and physiology with a unique understanding of spirituality in the modern world. Significant teachers have been: TKV Desikachar, V. Venkatesha, Hema Venkatesha, Kim Schwartz, Tias Little, Steven Hartman and over 17 years with Gabriel Halpern. He promotes a mindful practice, bringing one to the edge of ‘experience’ to ‘witness’ the moment unfold and realize it is us who is the unfolding.

Irena Dostalova is a certified yoga teacher of Hatha Vinyasa, Yin Yoga and Prenatal Yoga, registered with Yoga Alliance as 500 h RYT and RPYT.  She has had the opportunity to attend several Teacher Trainings and to attend Workshops in India and Spain as well as assist in various capacities. Because the journey of a yogi never stops, she is continuously diving deeper into the teachings of yoga, adjustments and anatomy. She has had the privilege to practice and study with internationally and locally known teachers. Among them are: Rich Logan, Jaggi Vasudev (Sadhguru), Manoranjan Chand, Pankaj Sadana, Annnamalai Prana Ji (Swami Thiyagaranjan), Benita Wolfe Galvan, Susana García Blanco, Patricia Sanagu, Hanane Meziouni, Violeta, Cosmin Iancu, Noelia Insa Satorre, Joanne Smallwood, Corinna Stahlhofen and many more and she is profoundly grateful to all of them.

Irena has been teaching in English, Spanish, Italian and also in Czech. Her Hatha Vinyasa classes are suitable for everyone and she loves helping others begin and continue their inner journey. She conducts her lessons with the intention of encouraging her students to awaken and explore the consciousness of their body, mind and soul through a dynamic practice in the rhythm of the breath. Her purpose is to guide the classes so that body and mind reach their optimal state. This consequently facilitates the connection with the deepest part of our being.
