Raja Ampat is an archipelago located in the far west of Papua, Indonesia, and is considered one of the most spectacular diving destinations in the world. Its name means “The Four Kings,” referring to its four main islands: Misool, Salawati, Batanta, and Waigeo—though there are over 1,500 islands in total.

This destination is well known for encounters with whale sharks, manta rays, various shark species, vibrant corals, massive schools of fish, dolphins, and much more.
