About this trip

You’re invited to journey with us, to the mountains overlooking Lake Atitlán, where inner and outer nature meet. In this place that is both beautiful and wild, we will call back the fragmented pieces of ourselves that make up our most natural and authentic state. We’re immersing ourselves in this breathtaking part of the world, under the open sky, in the clean mountain air, sun on our skin, breathing with the rhythm of Mother Nature.

Why re-wild? Because in busy, modern life it’s become normal to over-schedule, over-work, over-stress and over-stimulate ourselves. Many of us forget the deeply rooted sense of wild at the core of our being. If we look around in nature we see she is unhurried, rhythmic, wise, playful, at times fierce, yet always grounded in a trusting peacefulness of herself. And that is who we are as wild beings. We don’t go into the nature to fix or change anything. We go into the nature to remember who we are.

This retreat is for those willing to take the leap in themselves, and into the wild, to once again remember.

This retreat is not for those looking for a luxurious or lavish experience. The retreat center is off-grid and can only be reached by a 15-20 minute hike on foot from the main road. It is rustic, beautiful, raw and down to Earth. In this peaceful setting, nestled in the mountains arms, await gifts for each of us to uncover, as we re-connect, re-juvenate and re-wild.

Additional Notes:

-  It is recommended to fly in a day early and either spend the night in Antigua or near San Marcos La Laguna (where the Yoga Forest is). We will be meeting mid day on January 17th to walk up to the Yoga Forest. The Yoga Forest is a 4 hour drive from the airport- please plan accordingly for your arrival and departure flights. I am happy to help coordinate shuttles, or connect participants who want to share a shuttle.

- A $350 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your space. The remaining paid amount is refundable up to 45 days prior to the retreat. Payment plans are available!
