07.30: Our guide meets at your hotel in the morning. Then, we take a 1.5 hour drive southward to the scenic Ninh Binh province, where our adventure begins.
First, we stop in Trang An, enjoy a beautiful boat trip in a traditional sampan rowboat through the many natural caves and grottoes of this stunning landscape. After the boat trip, pick up our bicycles and cycle to Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of the Dinh and early Le dynasties during the 10th and 11th centuries.
Embark on bicycles again and following the country lanes twist through the kart limestone mountain to Tam Coc, where we’ll have lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch we continue riding along back roads to Bich Dong Pagoda, where a climb to the top will afford us spectacular views. We’ll then cycle back to our hotel for the night, having dinner at a local restaurant. Overnight in Tam Coc, Ninh Binh.
