About your trip

Dahab is not just a diving destination, it is a lifestyle. You will understand fully once you will arrive there, it is a cozy, authentic, safe Egyptian village between Sinai desertic Mountains and the salty waters of the Red Sea.

Jon and myself have lived there, having chance to explore its corners and to fall in love with it. It holds a special place in our hearts and it would be powerful to share it with you all.

What to Expect:

  • Daily Dive Adventures: Explore Dahab’s world-famous dive sites like the Blue Hole, Canyon, Lighthouse, and Eel Garden, all accessible from shore.

  • On-Site Dive Center: Professional guides, high-quality equipment, and courses for all levels, from beginner to advanced.

  • Community Vibe: A welcoming environment where you’ll meet fellow travelers, share stories, and feel right at home.

  • Relaxed Setting: Chill-out areas, hammocks, and beachfront cafés just steps away for your post-dive relaxation.

Diving

What makes Dahab special? The holy destination for any kind of divers, from the very beginners to tech divers, snorkelers and freedivers.

  • Shore Diving Heaven: Most of Dahab’s dive sites are just a short drive and a gentle swim from the shore - no boats needed.

  • Dramatic Underwater Topography: Drop offs, caverns, coral gardens, and colorful walls teeming with marine life.

  • Affordable and Relaxed: Dive courses, guided dives, and fun diving are more budget-friendly compared to other Red Sea destinations.

  • Vibrant Marine Life: Expect to see turtles, moray eels, clownfish, parrotfish, nudibranchs, octopuses, and occasionally even dolphins.

Top Dive Sites:

Blue Hole
: A bucket-list dive with its famous arch and deep vertical walls.
The Canyon: Swim through an impressive crack in the reef that opens into a magical underwater cavern.
Lighthouse Reef: A perfect training and fun dive site right in the heart of Dahab town.
Eel Garden: Thousands of garden eels waving in the current, plus colorful coral formations.
The Islands: A labyrinth of coral pillars and crystal-clear lagoons.
Ras Abu Galum:  remote, untouched marine reserve near Dahab, offering pristine reefs and a true sense of wilderness.

After diving, the village is full of cute tasty cafés by the sea to sip Bedouin tea, and watch the sunset over the Sinai mountains.
