Been out of the water too long? Getting ready for that long-awaited and well-deserved trip? Or do you want to get comfortable, confident, and look good in the water? Then you’ve come to the right place!
This is one of our most popular programs, and it really helps ensure that your next dive trip or vacation is a great one! Our dive professionals will cover academics, equipment, and in-water skills in this exciting one-session program. You’ll be glad you participated!
We offer our Refresher programs in four exciting versions, based on your current level of certification, how long your gills have been dry, your needs and expectations, and ideally, as appropriate for your upcoming dive plans! These programs are open to any skill and confidence level, and certified divers from any agency are welcome to participate.
PADI ReActivate - our most complete offering, this program includes an online learning suite from PADI, a thorough classroom review and presentation with unlimited interaction and discussion, equipment review and familiarization, all necessary gear, hands-on equipment set-up, a thorough confined water session to restore comfort and confidence, proper weighting and trim considerations, review (and re-teach as needed) all the key skills that a competent diver should master, and plenty of practice and playtime in the pool. If you're Nitrox-certified, we'll go over analyzing cylinders, choosing the best gas blends, and remembering the key considerations when using enriched air. You'll definitely be ready for underwater adventures and more when the day is done! You will also be issued a new PADI Diver Certification attesting to your recently updated training.
IVS Comprehensive Review w/Manual—This 5-hour option includes everything above, but in lieu of the online learning, we provide a PADI Scuba Tune-Up manual to help you recall all the important bits of knowledge and skills we will cover. We'll also cover dive planning, teamwork, dive table usage, and computer familiarization. Upon completion, we can provide a Certificate of Confirmation for your refresher to ensure they put you on the 'cool' boat at your vacation destination.
IVS Comprehensive Review (no text) - includes everything above, but without the benefit of your being able to study and prepare at home. We still conduct a thorough academic review, then pick up at the equipment familiarization level and go from there. Upon completion, we can provide a Certificate of Confirmation for your refresher.
IVS Skills Only Refresher—For folks who haven't been out of the water too long or are planning relatively low-risk dives at their destination, this 4-hour option includes everything above, starting with the equipment familiarization level and proceeding from there. Again, we can provide a Certificate of Confirmation for your refresher.
