Cancellation by Client: Travel Insurance is now a prerequisite for traveling to Costa Rica, should you need to cancel you must do so via your insurance, and no cancellation refund will be offered by ReKinect Experiences.

Cancellation by ReKinect Experiences: Should the decisions of Government authorities or airlines inhabit the travel of participants during scheduled dates, ReKinect Experiences shall honor the original agreement at a later date within 1 calendar year (dependant upon availability) from the originally scheduled dates. Deposits or payments previously made will be held and any remaining payments will be scheduled according to the new retreat dates.

The Journey Begins
"The day you arrive at SJO airport, a bilingual driver awaits you holding a sign with your name on it! Your transportation will be grouped with fellow tribe members to enjoy the 4-hour scenic ride to the retreat sanctuary Kinkara. When you arrive at the retreat center, our team members will greet you by smudging you (clearing your energy with sage) to free you from any travel stress or negative energy you may be consciously or unconsciously carrying. Relax & settle with a complimentary 30-minute massage or facial that can be scheduled before your arrival to allow you to ground into your new environment. Enjoy a sunset welcome dinner to meet the full travel tribe, set intentions for the week, and Kinect. Expand into the rest of the evening exploring the property, star gazing, cozying up with a cup of herbal tea, or settling into your plush glamper tent. Calm your mind and rest your body for a peaceful sleep while hearing real-life jungle sounds.

May I Be Free of Anything That is Not Me
On this day we will release what is not serving us, letting go of trauma in the mind and body.

Turn your energy inward, this day we will enjoy a silent morning to ask ourselves, “how am I feeling”? before asking others. Small talk will be avoided from 07:00-09:00 to Rekinect with self. Enjoy a locally farmed and sourced, organic breakfast. After breakfast, a gentle energizing stretch will be led by Nurse Mo to open your hips and hearts. Indulge in a chef-prepared lunch, nourish your body from the elements of the earth. After lunch, we will head over to the "Land of Eternal Waters" through the forests of Kinkara Luxury Retreat. Monique will assist those who are not comfortable in water to let loose and embrace the purifying pristine plunge pool of nature. We will pray in the water as a tribe and release a rock that represents something that is no longer serving us, letting it go in the water. A chef-prepared sunset dinner will be served for the tribe to enjoy as a newfound family. After dinner, we will gather by the firepit to release anything else we would like to let go into the fire. Take the night to rest and process all the beautiful detaching that took place, while our cells recharge from the water.

I Create What I Want to Feel: I think it, I speak it & it becomes REAL
On this day you will wake up feeling much lighter from all that you have released that day/night before. On this day we learn the REAL POWER in creating our reality! Today you drop your roles as "Super Women" and step into the goddess frequency of receiving, you will wake up leisurely and enjoy a chef-prepared breakfast before our late morning workshop. Monique will lead you all through a Manifestation workshop to rapidly create your dream life. Enjoy Queen talk over lunch. Take the rest of the afternoon to enjoy the yoga shala, take a mountain bike tour or REST. Show up for dinner in your favourite PJs, we will meet and indulge in a chef-prepared dinner followed by a “Fashion Show” + “ Dance Party”, embrace your inner child as we have a fun-filled night filled with laughter, joy, release, movement and not taking ourselves too seriously.

I am FREE; it Feels Good to Be Me
On this day you can do as you desire, the world is yours to explore. Feel free to arrange an excursion or day trip with the concierges at Kinkara Luxury Retreat Centre or connect with a local tour guide. You may want to go off the beaten path, explore waterfalls or the beach of Dominical, the choice is yours. If you would like to stay back and enjoy the retreat centre, Supersensory Intuitive Healing sessions with Gemma will be available, as well as 1:1 Self Love sessions with Nurse Mo. If you are back at Kinkara in time for dinner, we will enjoy dinner blindfolded to enhance our taste and smell.

Redesign Paradigms
Mondays don’t have to be stressful! On this retreat we will be well aware that we can create our reality, we can live lives that fit our unique needs. Enjoy a beautiful organic breakfast and then head to a workshop led by Gemma, this workshop will lead Mamas and Non-Mamas to unify and heal the disconnect between the two. In the late morning, we will go on a farm tour, where we will pick out our food and prepare it with a chef in a conscious cooking class. Nourish your body with the nutrients and love from mother nature. Take some time to yourself to enjoy your last full day at Kinkara. Over dinner, Gemma and Monique will discuss the topic of family dynamics and share their unique and beautiful story. We will close the night with a Cacao + Sound Healing Ceremony to close out our beautiful journey.

Highly recommend, 10 out of 10. Rekinect was an experience of a lifetime. Hands down the best trip of my life. I arrived with an open heart and mind, ready to take it all in and the experience far exceeded my expectations. Monique, Gemma and Lizzy Jeff curated a luxurious, spiritual oasis where we were catered too, allowed to be our authentic selves and affirmed constantly. The level of thought put into every detail from the welcome gifts, tent arrangements, playlist, workshops, journal prompts, etc was awe inspiring. We bonded, we laughed, we cried, turned up, we encouraged and held space for each other. I felt so safe and supported by all of the beautiful melanated women I met on this retreat. The connections I made mean so much to me, we are sisters for life. I was able to gain new perspectives, tapped into my inner Goddess and acquired tools to continue my healing journey at home. Don’t sleep on the Rekinect experience, Monique will not disappoint. If offered again, I would definitely return.

This retreat was everything I didn't know I needed. The food was amazing. The sisterhood was unmatched. And I am still applying some of the nuggets I left with in my everyday life. I have felt a sense of renewal and vitality that I haven't felt in years and I am excited for what's to come. So sad this is their last because I was definitely ready to come time and time again.

First and foremost, I would like to extend special thanks to Nurse Monique Doughty, RN. Her immaculate execution of this retreat spoke volumes about her attention to detail and the love that she has for her work, and the lives she touches on every retreat. I have followed Nurse Mo for some time and have seen her growth and shine to her highest vibration in life. But I never thought in a million years that I will be meeting such a beautiful and humble soul, she is truly a rare gem. Her transparency was what led me to finally take the time I needed for myself and book this retreat. And I'm forever grateful that I did. This retreat changed my entire existence. The hospitality was outstanding, and let's not even get started on the food and drinks. I have been to a few places around the world and by far this is on top of my list. Every activity, which was optional, was a wonderful experience and carefully executed. My personal favorites were her Yoga class, the waterfall hike, and the chocolate ceremony. The most important factor in all of this is that you can either participate in the group or choose to do your own thing. No one was held against their own will to stay or do anything they did not feel comfortable doing. You either had a choice to heal on your own journey or join the group whenever, or do both. I felt completely free to run wild and do as I please. Lastly, I will like to thank Gemma and Lizzy for working so synergistically with Nurse Mo. They make an amazing powerhouse team and all played a crucial role in my healing and changed my life for the better. To the entire staff at Rekinect, thank you. You all executed with excellency. I also met some amazing women from around the country that I will forever cherish and hold dear to my heart. Because of this retreat, I left costa rica with my soul field with love, positive energy, clarity, and the right mindset to finally live the life I was born to live and deserve. Great experience! I loved connecting with other women who were on the same path as me. Being surrounded by a group of women who uplift each other was empowering. Mo, Lizzy and Gemma created a safe space for everyone and i truly appreciate that. Definitely recommend others attend this retreat!

ReKinect Rebirth truly was exactly that. It was an experience cultivated within a safe space filled with beautiful, successful black women (ALL welcome) holding space for one another to heal and spiritually evolve. Every aspect of this retreat (& the MANY others i have attended) were done/executed with intention. Nurse Mo, Lizzy Jeff & Gemma are more than just retreat host… They are space holders. Holding your hand as you cry & get through your shit … while also cheering u on when u unapologetically step into your Divine Feminine energy. Show up w/a pure heart & good intentions & thats exactly what u shall receive in return & so much more. 10/10 This is your sign to PUT YOUR SELF 1st & BOOK THE TRIP SIS!
