Welcome! Release in Boca is a Fascia-Yoga Healing Retreat to Release the "old" so the NEW can emerge. October 15 to 18, join Maria Alfieris (myofascial release) and Brie Mazin (yoga) at the Waterstone Resort to explore 3 days of Integrated Movement. We'll be releasing and healing as we explore the body-mind-spirit system. Learn how to release all that is not serving you anymore inside and outside of your life. You'll take a journey  within and learn how movement and energy medicine teachings can activate your Inner Physician and enhance your immune system. Optional fundraiser will take place at Rise31 to support Thrivers Guide for anyone interested in joining! 

About the yoga: Yin & Yang = the perfect balance.  First part of class Brie will guide the group in an all levels vinyasa flow class connecting breath with movement. The second half of class she will get a bit deeper into the connective tissues with a long, slow and deep focus. The end result, a workout and a work-in.

About the myofascial release: When our Fascia becomes restricted, we can lose range of motion, experiencing pain and discomfort. Myofascial pain differs from other types of pain because it originates in "trigger points," which are related to stiff, anchored areas within the myofascial tissue.  Some of the healing shifts that you will feel when experiencing Fascial Release: Emotional releases, decreased pain & inflammation, enhanced movement, improved immune system function, and releasing our blocked energy to "flow" again, as it works through the meridian system. 

Come spend 3 days in a small intimate group and uncover more of your Truth. Let your AUTHENTIC Self out. 

Who is this retreat for? Release in Boca is for anyone who has an interest in exploring deeper inside themselves via yoga and energy medicine teachings.  

What will this experience be like? You will partake in yoga classes (good for beginners to advance) and learn about the healing aspect of Fascial Release. You will take home many tools for continued self healing using a foam roller. You will also learn how the body has it's own innate healing system.
