Join Amy Fulgham and Lauren Hemley for a weekend of gentle yoga classes, rest and relaxation, vegetarian/vegan food by Wendy's Vegetarian Kitchen, S'mores by the fire after our Fire Ceremony, and morning coffee on the deck! Participants will be encouraged to share about their harvest for 2026 around the fire. Massages with Charles Michener will be available for an additional price, paid in cash in person.

In 2014, having just finished an MFA in Acting from The New School, Amy Fulgham was led by the purchase of a Groupon to practice yoga with Austin Sanderson at what was then Jivamukti Jersey City. Five years later in 2019, she decided to train as a teacher, so she could pass on this passion to others. Halfway through a 200 hour teacher training at Asana Soul Practice in Hoboken, the pandemic hit, and they finished up on Zoom that June. In 2021, Austin Sanderson asked her to embark on a 500 hour mentorship with him as he formed his own brand, Urban Sadhu Yoga. This training gave her experience in hands-on assists which became a passion and has become one of the trademarks in her classes. Amy earned Prema Yoga Institute’s 850 hour yoga therapist certification in early February 2026. This training has expanded her love for therapeutic yoga including an interest in yoga nidra, pranayama, chanting and other sound modalities, yin and restorative yoga, and has led her to teaching seniors, people with injuries, as well as people in recovery from substance abuse. She teaches yoga therapy for addiction recovery at New Pathways counseling in Bayonne, has taught seniors in Brooklyn, in Central Park, at TMPL Gym in Manhattan, for 5 years at Urban Sadhu in Jersey City, and is a part of Devoted Heart Yoga collective.
Lauren has been teaching yoga since 2013 and has obtained over 500 hours of training and over 1000 hours of teaching experience. She did her first 200 hour training with Syama and Dhyana Masla at Stanton Street Yoga/The Bhakti Center, followed by another 200 hour training with Alison West at Yoga Union. Since then, she has studied prenatal yoga with Juliana Mitchell of Living Now Yoga, Pranayama and Restorative Yoga with Judith Lasater, as well as many additional hours of alignment yoga and yoga for backcare and scoliosis with Alison West. Lauren teaches vinyasa, yin, and restorative yoga, and prenatal. Lauren has been working with yoga teachers in training since 2016. Lauren’s classes and teaching style are a balance of physical awareness and spiritual depth. She hopes to convey the many layers and aspects of yoga practice to her students and trainees. She is the founder of Devoted Heart Yoga.

Charles immersed himself into healing work 12 years ago. He is a licensed massage therapist after graduating from The Swedish institute massage program, long considered one of the countries preeminent bodywork schools, He has continued his studies in Polarity, Craniosacral and Shamanic spiritual practices. He is an intuitive healer who works on the physical, emotional and spiritual levels. This is after a twenty five years career in construction working as a painter, plasterer, carpenter, foreman, project manager and finally business owner. As well as having a deep love and respect for the outdoors, canoeing, camping and hiking are central to his life.

Arrival between 4pm and 5pm followed by opening circle and gentle yoga. Dinner and dessert will be followed by a Sound Healing. Option to soak in the hot tub before retiring.
We start the day with a vegetarian breakfast by Wendy's Vegetarian Kitchen. After time to digest, our mid-morning yoga class loosens the body and burns off excess energy. After lunch and personal time to nap, journal, or hike, an afternoon class will help release tension and stress before dinner, Fire Ceremony, S'Mores, and more hot tub time.
After time for coffee and a light bite, our final yoga class will be held followed by a vegetarian/vegan brunch. Departure is at 11am.
