About this trip

Join us for a nurturing 4 day weekend at Om Waters— a sacred and stunning space offered to dive deep into your inner wisdom. This is an opportunity to discover new frontiers within yourself, see how we are all interconnected, and to be immersed in the healing spirit of nature. This retreat has been designed to put you at nature's pace— slowing down, quieting the mind, and finding simple joy. Throughout the weekend, we will weave together various modalities and tools to address all levels of your Being.

YOGA & QIGONG:
Our gentle and moderate yoga classes will benefit beginners, intermediates, and advanced yogis. Participating in our class is not about whether you are "good" at yoga or not. It's not goal-driven or doing poses by auto-pilot. Instead, yoga is an opportunity to spend time in your body, be attuned to the information and sensations that arrive, and staying curious.  This "body awareness" approach keeps learning infinite while building a strong and healthy relationship with yourself. Noticing our physical, mental, and emotional state during yoga poses allows us to fully listen to our body and modify. A mindful yoga practice means we take time to slow down and be in the present moment.

MEDITATION:
Meditation is an opportunity to observe your mind, the habits it tends to go into, and bringing yourself back to the present moment. We begin to see that we are not our minds, and we can let go of our thoughts, judgements, and reactions. In meditation, we practice a healthy relationship with ourselves as we receive information about our physical, mental, emotional, and energy state. Meditation is not "mastered" but rather a continuous journey with ourselves. Benefits of meditation include: stress relief, increased focus, clarity, insight, creativity, and release.  At Hanuman Yoga Retreat, we practice various types of meditation: walking, sitting, loving kindness/compassionate, zen, exploring the five senses, mantras, and more.

TRE®/ Tension-Trauma Release Exercises:
Learn this revolutionary tool for tension release and how stress and trauma affect the nervous system and body. TRE consists of a simple yet powerful set of exercises that help re-initiate the body’s own mechanism of healing through body tremors. The tremors help lower the stress and tension held in the body, without the need for story, or re-living the original events, leaving us more relaxed, clear, grounded and at peace. A tool you can take home with you and use for life!

INNERDANCE ENERGY WORK:
Connect deeper to your inner wisdom through accessing more of your right brain, intuitive knowledge. Using music, sound and other sensory input, you are guided into an expanded state of consciousness where insight and healing can occur.

Reviews

I always thought I’d be not much of a spiritual person. That was until I met Tammy and Ciara for my 3day-retreat at Om Waters. They created a truly beautiful, safe and inspiring environment for a group of total strangers to feel welcomed and at home in. The retreat gave me the chance to reset some buttons and overthink some patterns of my life. Tammy and Ciara figuratively opened up a variety of doors. And what I loved about it: They didn’t force anybody to enter. Nobody was pushed to see what lies behind them. Instead, our two facilitators welcomed everybody to explore the worlds behind those doors at their very own pace and energy. So, every single moment at Om Waters I felt safe and sound and just in the right place, with just the right loving and welcoming people surrounding me. I truly miss those calm, enriching days at Om Waters. I truly do.

This retreat surpassed all of my expectations. Tammy and Fernando created a truly wonderful, healing program. It was so well organized - exactly what I needed. The accommodations were exactly what I expected (shown on the website). The chef and his team prepared delicious food. All of the participants were awesome, and I know I will stay in touch with many of these wonderful, interesting people. The intentions I set on this retreat will guide me as I move forward in 2018, and I can see myself making a New Years retreat each year. All my gratitude to Tammy and Fernando for creating such an empowering, loving experience. XO Denise
