A 1-hour Battle of Britain Bunker tour takes you down 76 steps to see the original 1940s bunker used by the RAF in WWII to plot most of the Battle of Britain air defense. You will visit the Christ Church College, where alumni include Lewis Carroll, Bill Clinton and David Cameron, and the Great Hall was used as a filming location for the Harry Potter movies.   Today visit the Biggin Hill Memorial Museum telling the story of Britain’s most famous fighter station through the personal experiences of those who served there, and the community who supported them. One of Britain’s oldest aerodromes, RAF Biggin Hill is internationally recognised as Sir Winston Churchill’s ‘strongest link’ in the Battle of Britain. Today, the museum sits on the same site as St George’s RAF Chapel of Remembrance, which was completed in 1951 to preserve the legacy of the aircrew who served and died at Biggin Hill. At the museum you will be welcomed for tea / coffee.

Today you will discover the highlights of Dover, see the White Cliffs and visit Dover Castle. Upon arrival in Dover, you will be greeted by spectacular views of the English Channel that separates Britain and France. Today explore Chartwell, home to Sir Winston and Lady Churchill and learn about all the awe-inspiring accomplishments that he achieved from this modest country estate. Many of Sir Winston's greatest achievements, including the writing of his Nobel Prize-winning memoirs, took place at Chartwell. Much changed and expanded upon by Sir Winston, Chartwell was, in places, built by Churchill who had a hand in expanding and extending the main house to building the brick walls in the kitchen garden. This tour offers you the chance not only to explore the house and grounds but discover how Churchill created a much-loved family home.
