Join us in Puerto Rico for our annual get away this upcoming January 11-16, 2024!

Packed with a mix of self-care, laughs, and adventure, this trip offers a balance for those who want some internal work but also want to turn up a bit. Fly into San Juan on Thursday, then we whisk you away to the quaint beach town of Luquillo. For the next few days, you have OPTIONS (nothing is mandatory)! If you want to dance, dance. If you want to lounge in the pool, do that. We offer a diverse array of classes and experiences on this retreat…there is something for everyone!
All meals provided “in-house” are vegan. However, on the excursions you choose your own meals. We are super close to the world famous “food kiosks” in Luquillo which is nice if you just have to have one more Puerto Rican snack in your life!

This trip is for anyone and everyone. No matter your body, your background, your age.... you are welcome here!
Most of our trip attendees are women or those identifying with the female energy. We welcome all sexual orientations and identities on our trips.
If you suffer from xenophobia, racism, sexism or any other belief system that causes harm this isn't the trip for you!
Our goal is to invite all abilities to join Remote Asanas on our Puerto Rico trip. If you need accommodations due to hearing, vision, or mobility please reach out to us to discuss!
What about yoga??
What if you've never done yoga?
Well you can join us and learn on the trip, as we had a few folks do in 2022. The yoga class on our trips are designed for ALL bodies and levels of fitness and ability. Still not sure....well guess what, the yoga, just like everything on this trip, is optional!

Join Jess, of J. Mynatt Photography, for an intimate portrait experience in one of the most beautiful locations in the world.
Jess is known for her ability to create stunning, editorial imagery with everyday women, expertly guiding them through the most flattering poses and having them leave the experience feeling more confident in the skin they're in.
Jess will have two options available during your stay in Luquillo:
Option 1 - a traditional "boudoir" style session set in the stunning retreat venue. During this experience, Jess will lead you though sultry poses that are guaranteed to make you feel unstoppable.
Option 2 - a tropical session, taking place on one of Luquillo's remote black rock beaches. This excursion will whisk you away to a swoon-worthy location where Jess will lead you in creating magazine-quality imagery you'll cherish for a lifetime. These sessions have flexibility and can be intimate or simply a celebration of your power.

All trips are non-refundable. We can offer partial future travel vouchers for cancelations made 90 days prior to travel. All cancelations after are nonrefundable.

Training Options: Twerk Technicians
Twerk Technicians Workshop
Twerk Technicians, created by the World Famous Vertical Joe's, is your home for all things twerk. Our trainers have been featured on multiple media platforms and TV shows including P-Valley, Real Housewives of Atlanta, Drake, Lil' Baby, Lil' Wayne and more. With us you can become a professional twerker, twerk instructor or just look like one! Our mission is to properly appropriate, educate and preserve Twerk culture. We strive for Twerk to be recognized and respected as a form of dance.
Twerk Technicians at Remote Asanas: Luquillo is open to all retreat participants as an add-on experience. This workshop includes an interactive masterclass and an in-depth breakdown of various twerks with a bonus Puerto Rico style segment. No previous dance or twerk experience is needed! Additional Cost

Learn how to slay tricks and transitions in LapRyderz as seen on Bravo's Mother Funders!
Are you ready to MOUNT UP? Vertical Joe’s has been teaching chair dance since 2009. Learn a fun chair routine for a workout then take it home or put it in your archive for later. This is the class you never knew you needed! Wear plain leggings, knee pads, heels optional.
LapRyderz Workshop at Remote Asanas: Luquillo is open to all retreat participants as an add-on experience. This workshop includes an interactive masterclass with an in-depth study of varying moves, transitions, and tricks! Additionally, we delve into some additional LapRyderz Styles such as partner chair dance, acro-chair, and pillow dance. Additional Cost.

One of these doubles has a huge balcony overlooking the pool- first double booking to pay in full will receive this room.

BUNK BED WITH FULL BED ON BOTTOM & TWIN BED ON TOP WITH SHARED BATHROOM
This is the budget friendly option. This room has two beds but we are only allowing one person since the bathroom with be shared with the other bunk rooms.
To be fully transparent, the bathroom is in the hallway and will be shared by up to 5 people. This requires a little patience for when it's time to shower. There is a half bath available downstairs as well.
We find that most folks are not really in their rooms too much! So if you are budget conscious and don't mind the "dorm" life, get into this junior single.
