About this trip

Join us as we shelter in place, together.  We’ll replenish the connection to ourselves, our environment and each other while honoring our personal sense of boundary and safety.  Our retreat will be held in the heart of Napa Valley in the town of St. Helena. We will nourish you through movement, food and good company.


Experience being held in community with plenty of space, nourishing food, healing and strengthening movement. It's time to renew your connection to your body, mind and soul.


Our experience will include:

  • 3 nights luxury accommodation: King or Queen suites with custom French styled beds upholstered in Belgian linen. 
  • Organic breakfasts with ingredients harvested from the property
  • 2 Dinner/ cooking demonstrations with fresh-picked vegetables and fruits from the organic garden. 
  • Picnic lunches from local specialty stores
  • 2-3 classes outdoor per day including yoga, core, cardio, meditation and mindfulness practices - gaze out at the garden as you deepen your practice 
  • Free time to enjoy the area walking in the gardens, napping and reading, rides provided for wine tasting,

Final payment due September 1, 2020.

Cancellation before August 24 you will receive a full refund.

Cancellation after August 24 will result in a refund minus your deposit.

Lisa Vonnegut, CSCS


Lisa has been a trainer and a coach since 2000. Her experience working in clinical psychiatric and acute rehabilitation settings helps to create a nourishing and motivating environment in her training sessions. Her passion is empowering each person to find his or her maximal effort, without comparison or judgment. In addition, Lisa is studying neuroscience as it applies to movement in the Master Practitioner Training program for Z-Health Performance. Lila Heller believes that when we feel good in our bodies, we are inspired to do good in the world. Her goal is to help people move better, breathe better and feel better to live a life they love. Lila has been teaching private and group Pilates since 2004. She has been leading transformational retreats since 2010. She is an internationally trained Pilates trainer, Strength and Conditioning Coach, Primal Movement Coach, SmartFlow Yoga and Zhealth Practitioner. Arrival begins between 3:30-5. You will be greeted with a beverage and snack.  A before dinner movement class 5:30-6:30. Dinner begins at 6:45, followed by a welcome meeting.

Amazing trip, as always! The classes were transformative, food was amazing, location is perfect. thank you!
Lila did a fantastic job of creating a well balanced retreat. Holding time for movement, personal reflection and laughter. The facility was peaceful and beautiful. There were amazing views and hiking trails and the accommodations were rustic but very very comfortable. The food was healthy and delicious, i looked forward to every meal. I appreciated that folks could engage when they wanted and step back if they preferred. Looking forward to doing another retreat with Lila soon!

This was my fourth Chacala retreat with Lila. Each year, it’s been the best week of my year. Lila is a brilliant and radiant teacher, as is Jorg. Mar de Jade is heart-stoppingly beautiful, the organic food is healthy and delicious, the sound of the ocean waves so restorative — and the friendships that form and deepen each year at this magical retreat even more so. Can’t wait for next year!

Lila's retreats are always special and Mar de Jade was no exception. The staff was efficient, friendly and very helpful. Food was excellent and the weather cooperated also. Lila and Joerg had good chemistry and I came back in a lot better shape than when I arrived. The folks in our group were awesome.....saw old friends and met new ones.

It was a great week. A magical place with lots of movement and great food my body needed. It was a great balance of classes and then free time to explore as we wished. Being right on the ocean was wonderful. Truly a fantastic journey to the heart.
