Our all-inclusive retreats (yes, that means that tours are included as well!) offer you a chance to get away from your hectic life and surround yourself with the rejuvenating nature of Costa Rica. Disconnect your phone and re-connect with yourself.  No need to worry about planning, we've got you covered!  These retreats are created around the belief that to be truly well, you need balance in all of the major areas of health. Our retreats help you to heal physically, spiritually and emotionally.

Our group sessions led by Dr. Aleksandra Gasinski, ND dive into all the emotions that come up in the cancer experience – from questions about identity, fear, death, and relationships, to hope, resilience, and lessons learned. Our workshops will share valuable information about nutrition, detoxing, the power of the mind, and the latest cancer research to arm you with the tools to keep yourself well as you step into this new chapter of your life.

Our daily itinerary varies but there is always free time where you can choose from add-on spa services at a 60% discount just for you, or additional free tours if you feel like exploring more of what Costa Rica has to offer.

The Villa

The Bella Rosa is located in the community of Ojochal, along Costa Rica's southern Pacific coast. Its elevation affords panoramic views of the Pacific Ocean, where warm breezes constantly flow. When you stay in our luxurious gated accommodations, you'll be able to experience all the tropical rainforest has to offer!

The property includes a large pool, spectacular manicured grounds, and amazing 180 degree ocean and jungle views.

All bedrooms have AC, WI-FI, hair dryers, TV's, DVD players, and in-room safes. Rooms outside the main building have mini fridges as well.

The Area

Perfectly situated right on the coast of the province of Puntarenas, Ojochal is a little town just 15 mins from the more touristy destination of Uvita. This quiet location is off the beaten path, yet full of surprises! Ojochal is full of natural beauty - from beaches to waterfalls. And with Uvita nearby, there are plenty of sights to see and activities to enjoy!

If you are living with or recovering from cancer, Restorica Retreats gives you the space to rest, recuperate, and heal.

Our all-inclusive retreat program is specifically designed by a Naturopathic Doctor who works in Integrative Cancer Care. Dr. Aleks will be facilitating group sessions discussing all of the challenges and triumphs of the cancer experience. She will also be running educational workshops teaching you how to stay well, whether you're living with cancer or in remission. 

Connect with other cancer patients and survivors, while enjoying local and organic meals, restorative yoga, and guided meditation.

Take in the amazing beauty of the Costa Rican rainforest with jungle walks, visits to waterfalls, mineral springs, and stunning beaches. This is a time to do something for yourself!  

Dr. Aleksandra Gasinski is a graduate of the 4-year naturopathic medical program at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Prior to her medical studies, she completed an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Nutritional and Nutraceutical Sciences from the University of Guelph.

Her practice focuses on integrative cancer care and mental health. Dr. Gasinski has received extra training in adjunctive cancer care in order to treat the unique needs of cancer patients both during and after treatment. Her approach aims to inhibit cancer, reduce side effects, maintain energy, and promote wellbeing.

With extensive training in the field of mental health, Dr. Gasinski teaches stress management and meditation. She is passionate about guiding people in changing their mindset, and shifting from anxiety, depression, and fear to a place of resilience and balance.

Her experience, both professionally and with family members with cancer, has solidified the importance of opening up and communicating through the cancer journey. By understanding how trauma is stored in the body, how the stress response affects the nervous system and immune system, and how processing through stuck emotions can change an individual's outlook and outcome, Dr. Gasinski guides people in discovering the patterns that are affecting their health at the deepest level.

Creating Restorica Retreats is the culmination of years of learning - bringing together mind, body, and spirit with the healing power of nature. 

The $500 USD deposit to hold your space is non refundable. The remaining balance is due 30 days prior to the retreat start date. If you need to cancel before December 20, 2019 you will be refunded minus the $500 deposit. There are no cancellations or transfers after December 20, 2019.  A confirmation email will be sent within 48 hours of your booking.  

Please do not book your flight until you have received a confirmation to do so.  

An information package will be sent 15 days prior to departure and will include the retreat schedule, recommended packing list and trip details.
