About this trip

Set in our idyllic surroundings in the rolling hills of Southern Spain, this four day retreat is specially designed to address and ease the pressures that come from being a modern-day teacher.

Beginning each day in the riverside shala accompanied by the sound of bird song and flowing water, our daily workshops are centred around three key components of yoga that will allow you to rejuvenate and harness a deeper sense of wellbeing: asana (posture), pranayama (concious breathwork) and yogic philosophy.

Whether you are completely new to yoga or an advanced practitioner, these three elements are presented in a practical, engaging and pragmatic way so that you can return to navigate the stresses of modern teaching with enhanced clarity, vision and enthuasim.

Each guest will be supported to develop a deeper awareness of their own needs and potentials, with a focus on cultivating - or rediscovering - the true essence as to why they have chosen to the beautiful and courageous path of teaching in the first place.

To encourage further self-care and balance, a daily schedule will also allow for relaxation by the tranquil pool, three freshly prepared and locally sourced vegetarian meals, as well as optional massages ranging from Thai to Shiatsu, ensuring that this beautiful retreat has all the ingredients you'll need to find your centre again. Tea, herbal infusions and fresh coffee are self-service and also available throughout the day.

The perfect antidote to stress and fatigue, this retreat will allow you to harness your own inner strength, belief and personal awareness in order to face your profession with a new found sense of integrity and passion.

Guests are welcome to arrive from 2pm onwards on Day 1 and make use of the swimming pool and luscious gardens, before we first come together as a group for our evening sessions - a welcome circle, candlelit yin yoga and meditation and a sumptuous supper.

The retreat finishes after our morning yoga and breakfast on day 5, allowing guests plenty of time to travel back home – refreshed, smiling and ready to face the new term ahead.
